Credit: The Cabal The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger. "Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix." We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. YOU be the Judge and get informed. "I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat." |
Group linked to al Qaeda warns of 'columns of car bombs' Australia and Italy have received warnings through a statement purportedly from militants linked to al Qaeda that demanded those countries withdraw troops from Iraq. |

There is no way that anyone in authority should be able to make a decision that would place ANY factor over american lives.
I wish we would. The enviro-whackos won't allow it though.

Yup. We were talking about it, trying to determine whether other attacks were preceded by a certain number of warnings.
I believe the answer was "no", at least tentatively.
How are they going to stop it? If our national economy is threatened by a chokehold on our access to foreign oil, anything they would do to interfere with drilling would be seditious.
Thanks. I can't remember the details of all of the angles we follow.
I wish that was the general concensus. I don't understand why the majority our elected officials don't have this attitude and challenge the opponents of tapping our own natural resources. I understand special interest groups, but aren't we special too?
Not in an election year, we're not. While not quite a koolaid drinker, there's no WAY anyone could confuse me with being a swing vote. :)

Just kidding!
What time did the attacks you are referring to happen?
Inquiry over 'fuel leak' airliner
A two-inch door to the fuel tank of the aircraft was found unscrewed
An investigation is under way into how a British Airways airliner took off from Heathrow Airport trailing smoke and fuel.
Air accident investigators revealed the pilot had to declare an emergency and released most of the plane's fuel over the sea before returning to land.
The incident took place on a Boeing 777 airliner, which had 151 passengers on board, on 10 June.
Investigators probing the failure described it as "serious".
The airline was heading towards Windsor when another pilot waiting to depart noticed the trail of smoke and the smell of aviation fuel.
The British Airways crew believed the plane was leaking fuel and immediately informed air traffic control of emergency.
The plane released 90,000 kilos of fuel to enable it to a safe landing back at Heathrow.
A two-inch door to the fuel tank was later found unscrewed. The screws were found hanging in a small plastic bag. (snipped)

Hanford nuclear power plant undergoes emergency shutdown
RICHLAND, Wash. -- Washington state's only commercial nuclear reactor remained out of service while technicians tried to determine why an automatic shutdown system failed to work properly Friday.
State emergency officials said there was no release of radiation and no danger to the public. It was not immediately known when the Columbia Generating Station reactor would be restarted.
The failure triggered an alert in which state agencies prepared to respond if needed to help Benton and Franklin counties near the Hanford nuclear reservation. (snipped)

I do not believe there is any record of a specific number of threats given before a strike. It has become the rule in the past several years that there are at least several threats to a specific region before any strike. I think it is is a fair assumption to believe that where there are warnings, there will be a strike... if it is not broken up, but coming up with a specific number of threats before they come to pass is impossible.
Especially since our betters believe they aren't the ones taking the risk...
Why not? You make the same calculation every time you decide the risk to your own life from other drivers is worth a cross town trip to eat dinner...
Thanks for clarifying that. I think that the idiots will continuously spew vile messages in hopes of carrying out the big strike. I'd like to think that for every time they've made a threat, we've thwarted an attack. They just like bullying with terrible threats because it makes them feel macho. They're too stupid to plan as many attacks as we've had threats. Those who make idle threats just expose their own weakness.
