CIA: 9/11 Plotters Transited Iran, Govt Tie Unseen
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - About eight of the Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers passed through Iran before attacking the United States, but there is no sign of official Iranian complicity, the CIA (news - web sites)'s acting director said on Sunday.

Let me rephrase:
It is not our job to hunt them down, we can connect dots, we can piece a puzzle, we can report it, we can glean patterns etc. But TM started out with alot of supposition and scattered meanderings. There are more ways to nail a terroist than hunting them, we let them come to us. We will never know if or how much we may have helped, but the reputation we are getting on many other boards, someone said they feared we have become a laughing stock, because of so many things and we didn't set out to be terrorist hunters but possibly cyber sleuths.

Btw Rev, you said you were going to turn in for the night unless you were baited. But your idea of someone luring you may be just the way you took a post. It is your choice how to handle that, not anyone else's responsibility. Accountability is key and then you post this, who's being touchy?

Commission says hijackers took flights into San Francisco as practice
SAN FRANCISCO The report by the Nine-Eleven Commission says four of the hijackers took flights into San Francisco before the attacks as practice runs.
The commission determined the group's ringleader Mohamed Atta flew into San Francisco two months before the attacks. Three other hijackers also flew into the city that summer.
The report says the hijackers all flew on United Airlines out of East Coast cities so they could check security getting onto the planes.
The commission's report is the first indication that any of the terrorists had spent any time in the Bay Area.
