Amen. Almost 30 years ago, I had a youth minister/baseball coach who was into studying Revelations, and he called alot of what is happening today.

Don't expect to see that tape...it will be supressed for national security reasons by most governments. I would assume it has already been supressed repeatedly.(Perhaps this is why al jazeera is still on the air...maybe they were in compliance with it's supression...and maybe why they are gaining airtime in Canada now.)

For the 38th St/2nd Ave area, it's within a few blocks of the Ford Foundation which seems to be at 42nd and 2nd.

42nd Street and Second Ave is also where McFadden's Pub is located. I have a lot of memories from that place during my younger years.

For the 28th and 2nd Ave. site, it's pretty close, within a block it looks like, of Mt. Sinai NYU Health Center, and Bellevue Hospital.

I think you have a point here. All the speculation about the various images is sort of interesting, but I don't know how useful it is. Yes, I've seen the calendar image Diogenes posted but even that didn't really indicate the whole 9/11 experience. But here at Threat Matrix we do what we do. Maybe it will be worth something.

I'm flying NW through Detroit in a few weeks and reports like this are making me more than a bit edgy. I keep telling myself that I would quickly intervene to prevent stuff like this to happening on any flight that I'm on, but would I really and at what point?

Probably the slowest day during the work week. A lot of people leave early, if they show up at all, and head out of town to the Hamptons, Jersey Shore, Hudson River Valley, etc., for the weekend. Even so, on any work day, even in the summer, there are lots of people in Manhattan.

The jihadis are big into kid boxing, weight building, asian self-defense workouts, etc. Just my random thughts... P.S. Martial arts require no weapons and no boxcutters.

There are quite a few ME young men, who fit the profile, that work out at my health club, but I haven't seen any of them since late June. All of them, however, are real lightweights and don't even come close to the heavy metal crowd. Also, martial arts are most effective in open spaces, which you're not going to find on a commercial airplane.

My baby is 9 months now, I worried all those months about having enough formula, I feel if something happens now she will be ok to have reguluar fluids, I'm sure milk will not be available if anything happens. Anyway I have been stocking up on the Soy Formula. I want to potty train her now to get rid of diaper butt!

I don't fly well to begin with but I did last week and I felt pretty comfortable with the level of security. It seemed a bit tighter down in Florida than it did in Newark, but in general I think it's safe. Actually, the turbulance made me more nervous than anything. But I hear you - stories like this certainly don't make it any easier.
