Thanks Honestly.

I have to go out and finishing watering the plants, but a quick glance on certain jihad-related boards; no photos or videos yet. I'm not an Arabic speaker.

Will look later to see what I find.

Congressman John Culverson just stated he has just received informantion from Southern District U.S. Attorney Michael Shelby (Texas)that Al Quida members have been entering from our southern border and have been entering through Texas and blending into towns....He stated this was classified and he given the OK to release this information.

The congressman may be a former congress memeber, I didn't hear his complete title. He is on KFI Los Angeles now

Flutters I was very afraid of this. Texas being a border
state with Mexico has a high hispanic population. However,
it also has a great arabic population, especially in
Houston and Dallas (I am from Dallas). They could just
come right across the border and would have no problem
blending in with the general population. I am very
concerned that possibly IMO, that Adnan Shukrajuma, the
one wanted that the FBI said is like Atta and was last
seen in Panama back in May, could come right across the
border.

Al Qaeda-Linked Middle Eastern Men Infiltrating Via Southern Border, Using Fake Mexican ID, Names

Congressman John Culberson (R - TX), speaking on the John and Ken show in Los Angeles, tells the hosts that he's now authorized, for the first time anywhere, to disclose that Middle Eastern men with Al Qaeda links have been mixing with the stream of illegal aliens coming in via the Southern US border. Having changed their names from Islamic to Hispanic ones, and having obtained authentic Mexican Matricula Consular ID cards using faked Mexican birth certificates, the men are paying up to $30,000 to obtain entry into the US among the flow of Hispanic illegal aliens crossing. They're choosing this path because the screening process the US is using on incoming airline passengers is becoming increasingly effective. Once in the US, these men are burrowing into small towns, posing as doctors, lawyers, CPAs, and other professional occupations which are scarce in these communities, making them more accepted and welcome. These "sleeper agents" then await activation for terrorist acts.

Culberson says he was informed of this by federal prosecutors in Texas (he gave the name of one of them, but I didn't write it down. I'm recording the show and will get the name when I play it back), and will have a letter with these facts in his hands on Tuesday. Culberson adds that he's also been told that an Al Qaeda attack before the November election is "100% certain."

Oh, yes of course, it's been doctored!

That's the infamous Tourist Guy pic.

It's been all over the web for years, I'm only surprised to see ObL in place of Tourist Guy, and others, who are usually in it!

Here's Tourist Guy himself.

Thanks this was just posted. And quite a concern I have
had. They can pass off as hispanic or arabic because
there is a high arabic population too.

This is information on Adnan Shukrishuma, believed to
be the mastermind like Mohamad Atta was, He could
pass off as a hispanic also. He is also wanted for
possibly planning terrorist attacks on the Panama Canal.

Last seen I think in that area in May. He has had time
to come across the border through Texas maybe IMO.

U.S. Moving Heavy Weapons

U.S. Shifting Armor From N. Korea to Iraq

Friday, July 16, 2004

SEOUL, South Korea — Around-the-clock train and truck convoys are moving U.S. military hardware from the tense border with North Korea (search) as the American Army prepares to redeploy 3,600 troops to Iraq.

The massive logistical feat began July 7 and is moving hundreds of Abrams tanks, Bradley fighting vehicles (search), Humvees and artillery pieces to the southern port city of Busan to be shipped out under tight security.

About 3,600 troops from the U.S. Army's 2nd Infantry Division (search), dug into encampments between Seoul and the heavily fortified border with North Korea, will follow their equipment to Iraq later this summer.

The redeployment — one of the biggest realignments in a decade along the Cold War's last frontier — was announced in May and signals the first significant change of U.S. troop levels in South Korea since the early 1990s.

It underscores how the U.S. military is stretched to provide enough forces to cope with spiraling violence in Iraq while also meeting its other commitments.

U.S. Army spokeswoman Maj. Kathleen Johnson said Friday the transfer of military hardware to Busan is ongoing. But citing security reasons, she could not say when the transfer would be complete, when the equipment would be shipped to Iraq, or how many ships would be involved.

The equipment is arriving around-the-clock at the Busan port, where soldiers are working two 12-hour shifts, she said.

"This is a very intensive operation, involving a large amount of equipment," Johnson said. "The scale of this operation is about five times that of what we ordinarily do."

The 2nd Infantry Division's 14,000 troops form the mainstay of the 37,000 U.S. troops in South Korea.

For decades, the U.S. troops have buttressed South Korea's 650,000-member military in guarding against the communist North's 1.1 million-member military, the world's fifth-largest.

Since announcing the redeployment of the 3,600 soldiers to Iraq, Washington also has said it plans to withdraw about a third of the remaining troops by the end of 2005 as part of a global realignment to make U.S. forces more responsive.

Talk of reducing the U.S. military presence is sometimes unsettling in South Korea, which still has painful memories of the North Korean invasion that triggered the 1950-53 Korean War.

Many South Koreans fear that a reduction in U.S. troops might shake the delicate military balance on the peninsula amid tensions over the North's nuclear weapons program. It also has prompted President Roh Moo-hyun to say his country is ready to play a bigger role in defending itself.

U.S. troops led U.N. forces during the Korean War, defending South Korea from a North Korea backed by China and the former Soviet Union. The U.S. troops have since stayed on.

Arabs increasingly define themselves as Muslims first

By Shibley Telhami
Friday, July 16, 2004

One of the most stunning moments after the collapse of Saddam Hussein's regime was the rush of tens of thousands of celebrating Iraqi Shiites into the streets in response to the call of their most revered leader, Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani. It was a stark demonstration of Shiite power, one that may have unnerved those Americans who believe in the possibility of a secular, democratic Iraq.

The moment was also a harbinger of a larger trend across the Middle East, one that poses difficult, long-term challenges for US foreign policy: More and more Arabs identify themselves as Muslims first.

My first reaction is that this seems a little hoaxy, what with the 2 pics of Ron Jeremy the porn actor being included, although I saw no mention of him in the post. But I then considered that Jeremy (not his full name) is Jewish and would be considered an enemy.

You're welcome. Here is a portion of an article about Iran's involvement in Iraq. Interesting, but must be read with discernment:

Al Qaeda is using Iraq as a new base for organising attacks against the US and its allies after September 11. US Secretary of State Colin Powell had repeatedly claimed in the UN Security Council that Baghdad had weapons of mass destruction, but one year after the invasion of Iraq it was disclosed that actually it was the Iranians who were making WMDs, including nuclear bombs and missiles, since the last 18 years, not Saddam Hussein.

The Americans have now started Saddam Hussein's trial, but, surprisingly, allegations about the possession of WMDs are missing from the charge sheet. Bush and Powell were embarrassed internationally because the Central Intelligence Agency was concentrating on Iraq instead of Iran.

Interestingly, the CIA was getting disinformation about Hussein's WMDs from Iranian intelligence through a double agent, Ahmad Chalabi of the Iraqi National Congress. Chalabi was an indirect contact of Iran with the US. The Iranians used the US indirectly against their old enemy Saddam Hussein and now they are using Al Qaeda against the US in Iraq. They are playing a classical double game, not only in Iraq but also in Afghanistan. (snip)

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don’t think it would matter whether the terrorist took on a Muslim name or a Mexican name. I deal with both Mexican’s and Muslim’s on a daily basis, and have for several years, and still can’t get the names right. I don’t even try to figure them out. I just look at the ID and copy the name. I guess what I’m confused about is of what use would it be to use a Mexican name opposed to a Muslim name?

I find this statement a bit stunning:

Culberson adds that he's also been told that an Al Qaeda attack before the November election is "100% certain."

Not much wiggle room in that one.

IMO if someone is using a Muslim name, they are going to
draw alot more attention to themselves simply because
most of the terrorist or jihadis are muslim. If they
use a Hispanic name, most people won't look twice. Simply
because most of the terrorist or jihadis aren't hispanic.

That is quite troubling...

Culberson adds that he's also been told that an Al Qaeda attack before the November election is "100% certain."

"they were caught taking pictures of all parts inside of the plane with their cell phones. They had hundreds pictures of all angles in the plane."

I'm just back from my Bible Study and dinner. The above snippet, if shown to be accurate and common (happens a LOT?) is a vital piece of info! Folks with contacts in the airlines should be brought into this. in fact, one of my CCW permit students is a senior pilot! I'll send this to him. He was one of the first to get qualified to be armed in his cockpit. He went through the original TSA school, where the feds were actively trying to wash folks out of the course. He passed first time. So I guess it pays to have a firearms instructor who's very profession is also education. LOL

I think that it is one more indicator that we all better be prepared for something major to occur and soon. Up to this point, we (Americans) have played right into their hands.....they are trying to instill fear to rattle our cages...hoping for the end result to be like the boy who cried wolf...we will stop being prepared because we believe that all of the threats have just been made to blow smoke. When they feel that they have accomplished that, and our guards are down...THEY WILL STRIKE!

At the same time, AQ is known to have a tremendous amount of patience, and Islamic faith requires them to warn their enemy for martyrdom status. Do not be surprised if a terrorist event in the US in the future is something that they warned of a few years ago.
