FBI urges vigilance for July 4
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A constant stream of intelligence indicating that al Qaeda wants to strike the United States this summer or fall has led federal officials to urge increased vigilance during the Independence Day weekend, but there is no specific threat of an attack timed to the holiday.

The Al-J show was filmed during the war in Iraq, once the major fighting was over. A U.S. soldier was the "handler" for the Al-J journalist and cameraman. What really caught my attention was everywhere they went the "journalist" kept asking about the American contractors that would be coming in. "Where will they be placed, what will they be doing?, etc. Over and over. In hindsight it was rather telling.
I don't trust Al-Jazeera.
I read the description....that looks like some sort of system for program developers
From Al Jazeeras track record, I bet they were pacing off the American compound for mortar registry while they did the interview.
Thank you Jellyjam.
That does sound dangerous. We definitely have gangs all over Long Island. I don't know any gang signs though!

It's time to worry when the Federal Bureau of Investigation, America's national police agency, consistently cannot figure out who's friend and who's foe in the war on terror.
The bureau's record of honoring the wrong American Muslims captures this problem.
Excerpted
Yup. They were walking all around a coalition military area during part of the interview. I couldn't believe it.
Hilarious movie!
Remember the old submarine tradition of watching Monty Python and getting totally drunk adn reciting the lines by memory?
OMG Laura! Has this been sent to the Feds? I'm sure you have! OMG!
ALGIERS, Algeria (AP) - An explosion at Algeria's main electric plant last month that injured 15 people was caused by a car bomb, the police director said Tuesday.
Authorities earlier said that technical problems were the most likely cause of the June 21 blast at the El Hamma plant. But National police director Ali Tounsi said it was a bombing carried out by Islamic militants.
He refused to say which group was responsible, but Algeria's main Islamic insurgency movement, the Salafist Group for Call and Combat, had earlier claimed responsibility.
The official added that authorities were responding to ongoing terror attacks by deploying an extra 500 police in Algiers.
"The terrorist threat persists in the capital, despite efforts in the fight against terrorism," Tounsi told reporters.
He's Bleeding demised!
No.
Al Jerk-zeera is the propaganda arm of Al Qaeda in my opinion.
I hear the new Iraqi Government is trying to expel them from the country.

The article brought the same thoughts to my mind. Why would they adopt this capitalistic practice when they are backed by those who claim to hate capitalism?
Oh, Donna
