Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-Cuba), speaking at a Democratic party fundraiser in San Francisco yesterday, was remarkably frank about the Democrats' intentions to use socialist redistribution policies if the party gains power after the November elections.
As reported by the Associated Press, Sen. Clinton said, "Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
With her blunt statement, Sen. Clinton has drawn clear the difference between the two major parties: The Marxist Democratic party will "take things away from you on behalf of the common good" while the Republicans will defend your right to spend your money as you see fit because they know it's your money, not the government's.
Remember this during the long slog to the elections this year. The choice is clear: Marxism or freedom. Vote wisely.
Every one in the US is common. There never was and never will be an aristocracy in this country. Where she gets off calling ANY group 'common' is beyond me. It implies that she observes, in her own understanding and evaluation of society, stratifications which are inconsistent with the very heart and soul of the American constitution....all are created equal...right?? Isn't that the 'dish ran away with the spoon' mantra the liberals regurgitate to trump every assault on their flimsy platform.
Sounds like it to me........I bet she didn't think would get reported...
"Say what you will about her husband, he never would have uttered such a stupid sentence. She may be the world's smartest woman but when she talks it becomes apparent that she has no clue as to what the nation will accept."
Whenever the Hildabeast speaks something is subtracted from the sum total of human knowledge.
TURN ON RUSH!!!
Lock and Load.
Got it .. he's talking about socialists
Ohhhhh ... he's talking about what Hellary said
Is Rush talking about it?
Yup...
That is why she used Bill as a puppet to push her agenda
Hellary was never very good hiding her true feelings .. they always surface to the top
Rush is discussing this excerpt right now.
"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
This will not be forgotten and is going to look great in a republican campaign add against her.
They are trashing NRST!!
The more she seeks the spotlight, the more apparent it becomes that she can never win a nationwide election. I hope that she will continue to speak out. It jars the napping back to their senses.
Then, every time guys like Warren Buffett or Bill Gates, Sr. whine and cry about how their tax breaks cripple the economy and aren't fair to everyone else, we can say, "Put your money where your mouth is or shut up."
How soon before we have "illegal consumption" laws? Cubans can be sent to jail for "consuming" too much.
Perhaps it will be illegal to have a net worth that is "too much".
Hilary is an adocate of the "third way". How far is that from "third reich"?
WE NEED A FEDERAL "TAX ME MORE FUND"!!!!!!
Those who feel undertaxed can tax themselves MORE.
And unless Bush plasters that quote on TV YESTERDAY, he will lose.
Is this a good place for the old joke about the Commissar explaining communism to the peasants:
"A man should not have two horses when his neighbor has none - we take one from him and give to one without..."
(Peasants nod enthusiastically.)
"Same thing if he has two cows - we give one to somebody else..."
(Peasants smile broadly.)
"Same with pigs - we take the extra and give to another!"
(Peasants glower, picking up axes and shovels and advancing menacingly toward the Commissar.)
"Comrades! I think you do not understand Communism!"
Peasant: "Yes we do - we raise pigs!"
I just checked, the phrase "common good" does not appear in the Constitution. Nope, none of the people's ceded powers grants the government any authority to take things for something as ill defined as the "common good." No surprise, Hillary argues for tyranny.
In Marxism, one must have an Elite Class. She's it.
Some pigs are more equal than others.
