Update:

IRAQ HANDOVER 'TODAY'

The handover of power in Iraq is to be brought forward to today.

A formal announcement will be made later today, Tony Blair said.

The informal announcement was made by Iraq's foreign minister Hoshyar Zebari.

The handover of power to an interim Iraqi government was supposed to take place on June 30.

Mr Zebari said the deteriorating security situation in the country was one of the reasons why the date had been brought forward.

"We will challenge these elements in Iraq, the anti-democratic elements, by even bringing the handover of sovereignty before June 30 as a sign we are ready for it," he said.

He added: "We have made some very good progress in terms of the new security council (in Iraq) and the return of sovereignty to the Iraqi people to take away the level of occupation we have suffered a great deal from.

"There are many Iraqis who are standing up to the challenge. We are here to seek more help and assistance, training and equipment."

Jennings was the only face guy there. The reporter from FOX said they were told to come to such & such place, at such & such time, but was not told the reason why.

Did anyone suggest yet that we start a "Free Republic Union"? That way we could say all of our protests were a strike and keep him out of every event.

Don't know what I'll do with all these video tapes (#440 is in now) but I've been documenting things since 9/11.

&&&&&

I spent some time this weekend reviewing my September 2001 tapes and recommend anyone who has some to do the same. The passion in President Bush's appearances is a wonderful antidote to the disgusting thoughts of Michael Moooore. The RNC should show footage from his speeches to remind Americans of the choice we have to make in November.

Whooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

Hassoun, 24, is a devout Muslim who joined his family in the suburbs of Salt Lake City shortly before 9/11.

*Perk*

Does his family realize that the terrorists claim to be working FOR Allah?

Holy Moly! If they get Zarquawi today I hate to even think what the Moore-ites will do.

(I'm thinking "what flavor Kool Aid?", though.)

Heck, we'll picket his house...well, ALL his houses. LOL!

That way he can't go anywhere and we won't have to see that his depressing face anymore.

I'm thinking Mr. Tart got chased in from lawnmowing about 5:30? I was waiting to see P.J. O'Rourke on C-Spam then. (They cruelly cut the presentation off partway in, though.)

Imagine that. CNN is already deriding the TOS (Transfer of Sovereignty) because there isn't enough electricity in Baghdad. In the immortal words of Dick Cheney, F___ you, CNN.

Yes, that's the new national flag. Its a departure from pan-Arab colors since a quarter of population (the Kurds) are not Arab. The colors stand for Mesopotamia's regions and the crescent is the symbol of Islam.

FOX: Very tentative on reports about al Zarquawi.

Good Ole Fox & Friends on early...in honor of doing things early today I guess.
