Truly, Mark Steyn is the gold standard in political commentary. No one on either side of the divide comes close.

No word on whether the president also made Dan wear the Monica beret and the little blue cocktail dress, but from the pre-released excerpts it sounds highly likely.

Perfect subtlety from Steyn.

I think Steyn meant to say Clinton still has hot flashes.

There are so many great lines, it is hard to choose just one favorite.

IMHO, the best yet:
In Mrs Clinton's version . . . she says she could "hardly breathe" and was "gulping for air", which sounds more like Monica's problem.
He owes me a keyboard.

Say what you like, but, in the Clinton era, the only naked guy with women's panties on his head and a dog leash round his neck would have been the President breaking in the new intern pool.
He owes me a keyboard and a monitor.

If you think a great political party should be a star vehicle for a guy who won't get off the stage, fine. But, if you don't, then it is time, as Bill Clinton used to say, to move on. Monica's no longer on her knees. There's no reason why anyone else should be.
The wife sez I also have to get the coffee stains off the wall and floor by morning.

LOLOLOLOL! And we can't forget the part about Air Force One being back in the hanger. . .!

(PS. Club soda works on the coffee stains in the carpet!)

Hey, the more we can have Clinton in the public eye, the better it is for our team on November 2. We need to keep the public nauseated with him and saying: "Geesh. Are we ever gonna get rid of this guy?" He is still a Democrat and, whether they like it or not, Dem candidates are associated with him in people's psyche.

"...Clintagra male performance products which enable middle-aged men to maintain erection for two full terms."

I really did LOL when I read the gem above.

I really hate the word "genius" but when it comes to this guy and the written word no other term fits. I have never seen an article from him that didn't seem too short.

Well I know this will probably insult both Ann Coulter fans and Mark Steyn fans but....

I think Mark Steyn is the male Ann Coulter and Ann Coulter is the female Mark Steyn...if that makes any sense.

Now what I could really get excited about is the Steyn and Coulter show, or the Coulter and Steyn show.

But could you put them together without diminishing one or the other?

Hmmmmmm....

My goodness! Wonder how long that stays up.

Are you asking me, or Bill? ;)

CLEARLY, FREEPERS NEED TO BONE UP ON THEIR READING COMPREHENSION SKILLS...

...and promoting his new range of Clintagra male performance products which enable middle-aged men to maintain erection for two full terms.

Clearly, it will stay up for TWO FULL TERMS, silly!

Speaking of Ann Coulter - did you all happen to hear her radio interview with Neal Boortz one day last week where she said the least Clinton could do was admit that he hadn't "personally" written his book - a ghost writer did. She told Neal the guy was identified about the time when the news came out of how much Bubba was being paid.

This article is so full of tongue-(or something)-in-cheek one-liners that it's difficult to single anything out for special consideration. Suffice it to say that Steyn's word-pictures finally brought up this image:
