That pic of the Bush twins reminded me of 2 of the daughters on Petticoat Junction!

She's still homely IMO. Better than before, but still basically homely. She looks like Hillary's mother.

... and, btw, how is Webster Lee Hubble doing these days?

Chelsea has been a Clinton surrogate at Cannes, in England and elsewhere in Europe. She has been worshipping at the altar of Madonna and company. As for Clinton's hair, it sure looked thinning in a Capitol where hair seems to make the man.

During his tenure, President Reagan had to welcome the Carters back to their former "home" on occasion. I'm quite certain that his remarks were just as warm and cordial as those of President Bush this morning. He, like President Bush, understood that the White House is not the exclusive domain of any one president, that it is the people's house and presidents are, in essence, custodians for 4 or 8 yr periods. Clinton never understood that, he turned that gracious and historic old house into his personal playground, his "Animal House". The dignity and prestige of that grand and hospitable landmark suffered mightily when it was Clinton's temporary "home", President Bush has restored her honor. I am enormously proud and grateful for his respectful stewardship of this enduring symbol of America. Today's ceremony reguired President Bush to welcome his predecessor with a measure of grace and he rose to the challenge. I expected nothing less.

Thanks for the pix. It looks to me like a little work on the nose and chin, not much, tastefully and well done.

The BIG difference is her upper jaw. The position of the smile is virtually identical, yet the HS grad picture shows as much gum as teeth - that Mr. Ed look.

It looks like a sliver of upper jaw was removed and the teeth moved up en block to make the mouth better proportioned.

Can they DO that???

In some cases it takes psychotherapy to "get over it". Hillary isn't done with politics, so she needs Chelsea to present a united front.

I hope that someday Chelsea comes over from the dark side.

I'm not defending Chelsea ... I'm defending a woman's right to choose plastic surgery ...

especially in a world where woman ESPECIALLY are judged by their looks.

If you don't believe me, just read all the threads relating to various woman on this forum.

thank goodness I'm already cute and don't need surgery -- I hate pain.

"I am please to report that I had an excellent view of Mrs. Bush and Senator Clinton as they walked up on stage, and Senator Clinton is about twice the width of Mrs. Bush."

LOL Back before 9/11,I saw a website that was mocking Mrs. Bush as being too wide and poor fashion taste. They mocked her like we mock Hitlery. Your comment was great. Truth is better than fiction.

Thanks for the comment from the cubicle bound.

Over eight years it was clear - Bill Clinton loved the job of the presidency.

Which "job" did he like in particular -- I mean, he had so many of them...

From that angle Chelsea's beau looks a lot like Hugh Grant.

I think Carol Burnett spoke and wrote in detail about similar work she had done, where her jaw was lessened in some places, increased in others.

I've been wondering about something for a couple of weeks now, and it got lost during last weeks funeral for President Reagan.

Two weeks ago, Clinton actually defended President Bush.

I suspect he had a copy of the President's planned remarks for today when he offered up that defense.

Just something to consider......
