No, they were not both blinking at the same time. I saw them sleeping during two separate pans of the crowd. I have a the ability to stop and replay live television here and I even went back and replayed both pans several times to be sure they were really sleeping. I assure you, they were. Even for Bill and Hillary, it was unbelievable.

In a pathetic attempt to look sorrowful, Hillary ends up looking hung over. I wonder if she added some eyeshadow to the bottom of those big bags beneath her eyes, just for camera effect.

He's daydreaming about being there with somebody other than Hillary (who wouldn't). Of course its been so long since they have actually been together he probably isn't use to it. Of course if I were him I wouldn't close my eyes around her for a second.

then,
during a choir sing, both of the 'toons were semi-smiling nodding their heads oh, so slightly, like they were at a rock concert or something ... trying to be cool instead of somber.

I thought I had reached the epitome of dislike for these two,
but no ... there were lower depths to sink to.

It is. It probably was the webfeed changing scenes and my screencap capped during the change (fade in and fade out).
