Old media missed the boat on covering President Reagon, but the PEOPLE knew, loved, and remembered him. They were the dumb ones, not the American people.

I think we also buried/marked the death of the old media today.
WE were able to bypass the media to reach to each other as Reagan
used to bypass the then only three networks.

The three networks and CNN could not keep their sniping or pettiness
to themselves. WE were able to ignore them and skip right over them.
The left wing media wall is another wall Reagan helped bring down.

I was thinking that this morning. I had 2 open web windows, was on FR, sending screencaps. Somewhere in the background was my big TV on FoxNews (muted).

I thought, most of what I'm doing is all over the Internet. Broadcast media is rapidly becoming irrelevant. The Internet was faster, more accurate, more timely, and less chatter, fewer talkingheads, no political agenda of the net-newsies.

I believe the old media is in the dark as to the message sent this week.

IMHO, it was less about Reagan per se, but about our inherent values and unwillingness to accept their biased world view.

Americans got their power back this week and I doubt we'll relinquish it to the likes of Kerry and his band of America haters.
