They chose Danforth instead. Non controversial.
I am thoroughly gratified that our President made clear reference to the need of the Gospel instead.
Thanks be to God.

And did you notice that there wasn't any partisan political comments made, unlike what went on at Wellstone's pep rally, er...memorial service?

Absolutely. The adults would never do anything that distasteful.

The choir sang it as originally written: As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free. Appropriate for Pres. Reagan.

I was very please they sang the original words also. Pres. Reagan was plain spoken and so is Pres. Bush. It was very appropriate. I almost cheered through my tears.

Danforth does sound a bit like Joe Lieberman.

Even Danforth came through...."He didn't need to be President to be a complete person." Great statement about Reagan's attitude toward power and fame.

If true that is a shame, this might be a push for him to turn to God for help in dealing with this loss. What else does he have,he is a very smart guy that is a failure in life compared to his father. Highlight of his career is the AKC dog show emcee. WOOPDEDOO!!!!!!

The Clintons are not going to like the pictures of themselves when they see how many times the cameras caught them sleeping. Bill's expression was particularly bad, his mouth droops into a severe frown when he sleeps. I was waiting for his jaw to drop open.

May we believers all pray that

HOLY SPIRIT WILL RELENTLESSLY BE THE HOUND OF HEAVEN REPEATEDLY BRINGING THEM TO A POINT OF SALVATION CHOICE until they surrender to the One who can enable and make them to be the best them they have ever been--the most fulfilled, satisfied--and in step with the One who died for them, too.

>I'm late getting to this thread, but Patti looks better than I've ever seen her look before. I can't take my eyes off her. She looks... real.

I hate to sound annoyed, but it galls me to see the camera angle totally cut Michael out of the picture.

Danforth is hitting a grand slam. Subtly sticking it to the current political environment in this country...And that hatred and darkness will be overcome with light.

I did get to vote for Reagan and served under him as well. When I entered the USAF in 78 it was a mess. By the time I left in 90 we were ready to Fly and Fight and WIN.
Thank you and God bless you Ronald Reagan. We owe you so much....
