LIVE THREAD--Reagan State Funeral Ceremony: Lying in State at the Rotunda (6/11/04)
"Our 40th President wore his title lightly, and it fit like a white Stetson."
I had to leave the family room to see if Freepers think Clinton is stoned.
He certainly looks stoned out of his mind.
I'll chill on the overt Clinton bashing, but is this a memorial thread or a running live thread of commentary of what we are observing on TV? If it is the latter - which it most definitely is - then if we observe the Clintons doing something, it deserves being noted.
A boy wrote to President Reagan, asking for federal assistance to clean up his bedroom. Didn't get all of the answer because some doofus called me about siding.
Bubba looks stoned.
Camera focused on Tony Blair, Prince Charles. Welcome to our British friends.
Anderson was from Rockford, Il. He used to be my congressman.
W stands tall as a great, godly, American leader! God bless him and God bless the USA!
Awk!! There's Foul Bore...I mean, Al Gore.
Both Thatcher & Bush expressed the thought that we have Reagan as an example. Reagan, obviously, was a leader. A good man, and a great leader. And yet, this great leader submitted himself and his life, in humility, to Jesus and God.
Another Beautiful Tribute to President Reagan
God Bless you President Reagan and Thank you for your service to our country and to the world
Great! If you post to a new thread on FR, please ping me over to it. Mr Silverback could probably use a couple of them, too.
He's talking to the family as well as the Nation...I am so proud of my President...
My first vote for a President was cast in 1984, and he was the man. He had such a profound impact on the world that is now being realized by many.
He met both with courage and grace. (Talking about the brush with death with a bullet and the Alzheimers.)
Not that they deserve much mention, but the Clintons are surprisingly tactless in their appearances, even for them...
Cute story about kid who wrote to Reagan requesting federal assistance to clean his room. Reagan; Mom probably wise to declare it a disaster area, now go start a volunteer program to clean it up, congratulations.
Same with me and both my grandmothers (one in 2000, one earlier this year).
W: "Some very fine days are behind us, and that is worth our tears."
Did ya see who's sitting behind eGore 8-? Karl Rove
