We drink only California wine in my house... maybe an Italian chianti once in a while. May be hoisting one later today in fact.
It was on Fox...Brit's show when they have their panel the last 20 minutes. And OReilly's show talked about it too.
It has to be a tad "slippery"..to use your word, because when they pivit, and change the hand holds from side to front, their hands have to move smoothly..

They're not special gloves...the men of the funeral detail are very very good at what they do.

I would like to think she could still be forgiven--and I suspect from God's side, she could--were she to make proper confession, repentance etc. I just suspect that she has willfully chosen to be so devoted to satan and the Anti-Christ that she's quite possibly over the line with a terminally seared conscience etc.
I don't feel it's quite as serious with Billdo. But I also don't think it's overly likely that he'll confess and repent earnestly and seriously enough to gain forgiveness either.
It's not something I pray for often, for them.
