Alot of dignataries are now showing up to pay respects. McCain, Guiliani, Gorby, Karzai, etc.

Cspan has live coverage. Bush expected at 7 but could be earlier? He is then going to visit with Mrs. Reagan.

Guard changes about every half hour at .28 and .58 of the hour. One is going on right now.

"I heard this differently ... the amount was $200 and the woman's friends told her she couldn't cash the original seeing that it had RR's signature on it. She spoke with RR and explained her dilemma. The dust up is about FORMER Pres. and Mrs. Bush's visit to the rotunda, NOT the CURRENT Pres. and Mrs. Bush's visit.

But I don't think Sr. would have stopped to chat or that Barb would have let him since it was a place of mourning.

Personally, I really don't have a problem with it and was just REMARKING about it. I thought it was funny.

If you were being honest in your reporting, you might have pointed out that people were reaching out to the former President in the crowd, and he was returning the gesture. I find it incredibly humble of President Bush and Barbara to visit at 11:30 PM at night, in order NOT to make it about them.
