Liberal firebrand Al Franken was forced to apologize for an on-air quip ridiculing someone as a hermaphrodite during his radio show.
According to Bodies Like Ours, an intersex support group, Franken was insensitive when he said conservative talk show host Sean Hannity was “born a hermaphroditic conjoined twin” and “the doctor who delivered him and his twin reacted in horror at their birth.”
Following a flood on angry email, Franken apologized for “furthering the unjustified stigma attached to these conditions.” He said an estimated one in 2000 people are born with atypical genitalia, which, like conjoinment, is a naturally-occurring bodily variation.
“I am sorry for the ill-considered joke,” he said.

That's about as clever as "Rush Limbaugh is a Big, Fat Idiot."
Franken has zero talent.
He caught a wave on Saturday Night Live, through no fault of his own, and has been basking in the rapidly attenuating afterglow ever since.

Some make themselves into hermaphrodites by choice using various accoutrements of a plastic nature. That's really his demographic.
I listened to Franken the first 2 days of Air America.
He was so 'unfunny' that even his female cohost sounded embarrassed as she sort of chuckled at his 'unfunny' jokes and comments.
I listened 1 hour each of his first 2 days. That was all I could taken.
This is indeed very typical of liberal lack of responsibility. It's all just a joke when anyone questions a liberal. What's your problem? Can't you take a joke? Conservatives are such hot-heads... blah, blah, blah. Ah but question a conservative for lose remarks and becomes hate speech.
You have to be careful though, to not split the hermaphrodite vote. Your platform has to appeal to both, uh, ends.
You will never hear Hannity, Limbaugh, Boortz, and other top gun talk show hosts fill air time with other hosts shows or lengthy commentary on other shows.
These hosts have an over abundence of content and matters of importance that they never get to all of it.

Imagine the horror when Franken's doctor saw he had an asshole at both ends!
Just another example of the cruelty and bigotry which distinguishes liberals from compassionate human beings.
Even when I disagreed with the conclusions that he drew, I always respected the methods he used in arriving at them, but for some reason, over the past few months he has really gone off the reservation.
Don't get me wrong, the man is still a genuine American hero and someone who deserves all the respect in the world, but some of his recent statements have lead me to lump him in with John Loftus when it comes to the general credibility of his military/intelligence assessments.
"Omigawd... Free Republic just posted inarguable medical evidence that I'm a freakin' hermaphrodite -- !"
Notice the terminology: Franken was "forced to apologize"
Not Franken "offered an apology"
Not Franken "expressed regret"
If an apology is "forced"; is it sincere?
Like when your Momma forces you to apologize for calling your sister names?
It was always a mystery to me how anyone found this Harvard-miseducated asshole to be funny in the first place! It just goes to show that the left really has no true sense of humor or wit at all!

It must be disheartening for Franken to realize that a sizable portion of his very minuscule audience consists of conservatives keeping him honest.
I'm not a big Hannity fan, but Franken is beneath contempt.
