Seeing this is quite impressive. (What little I see through the tears)
Oh, she's in a car..Got it.
Nancy is waving from the limoousine.
ABC reporting 290k bottles of water ordered by speaker of the house Dennis Hastert for crowd relief.
Me too. Seeing those boots and knowing they were Reagan's actual riding boots. Choked me up.
He's very good, isn't he?
I agree.
The band is playing now
Can't make out what it is though
How long is the distance up Constitution Ave. from where they are now to the Capitol?
Now the procession proceeds...
Applause
Chris Matthews says normally at a funeral applause would be jarring but he thinks people are communicating with Nancy Reagan.
The guest (not John Palmer but some guest) says they want to do something.
I agree.
What's THE MUSIC???? i THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE SILENCE ALL THE WAY?
LOL!
Just got off work, early to see some of this.
Not since JFK, the REAL JFK...have we seen an entire nation (less the hateful left of course) join together in one purposeful action of dignity and respect.
These activities this week, will further solidify the will of our GOP voter base, that the John Effin' K campaign is NOTHING WORTHY of our country.
What President Reagan stood for, is what George W. Bush stands for and this week will amplify it.
I sit here watching the horse, with RWR's own boots strapped in backwards...silence comes from the crowd, honor and dignity are all around. So many people, silent and full of respect for a man that many did not even know. All colors and creeds are assembled in DC on this day, this is AMERICA at its best. This is an AMERICA the Demorats can never, ever understand.
We are a great people and a great country.
God Bless President Reagan, his family, our honorable and dignified President Bush. Give them the strength to carry on the vision of Ronald Wilson Reagan and make our country even better, despite the efforts of the left to drag us down to their level of hatred and envy.

This is not just a point of sadness, it is also an affirmation of the man's deed and life.
In essence he gave up his last good years to make the world a better place.
Roger that, wasn't sure if she was going to walk. Glad she isn't.
I'll post later. This is too much for me. I can only sit and watch.
Awesome photo.
Jack Valenti said this is all about ceremony and pomp and circumstance. Also said the little things like the riderless horse make the biggest impact. Then Chris Matthews said to listen to the caddence because it is something we will all remember.
