That's the kind of gentle ribbing the Gipper always loved.
MSNBC is having a conversation about Margaret Thatcher.
They say that because of a stroke she had she can't speak
publicly any more. But she promised Ron she would do a
eulogy for him. So she recorded it previously and it will
be played sometime in the near future.
There's a screen shot earlier in the thread.
There might very well have been other funerals to plan if she HADN'T been allowed to be first in line.
(I love that lady, the Baroness. Truly a core of steel.) :)
Fox has REALLY dropped the ball tonight. I can't believe I'm plugging CNN, but GHW Bush and Barbara Bush will be on Larry King next. Guess I'm watching CNN tonight. :(
Did anybody else catch O'Reilley's opening where he said that Chirac is NOT going to attend President Reagan's funeral despite already being in Georgia?
O'Reilley ripped Chirac a new one about it.

Yep,looked good.
God bless her. She reminds me of Nancy in a way....so loyal to her long time husband, so clear on what 'family values' really are.
Reagan was a man of the people... has to be killing the Dems inside to see this. So much for their "party of the rich" crap.
I heard earlier interviews--quite a few folks came down from NJ, and some from MI.
I agree with you that Michael has been more the son of his father than the others. I am going to continue to pray that God gives him favor with his step-mother at last.
Perhaps now his daughters could have the attention of Nancy so I am asking for her heart to turn toward them. God knows, she needs them although she may not know that.
I'd been taping this on Fox and switched the VCR to C-Span...I was very disappointed Fox didn't cover these wonderful moments of special people approaching the casket.
I lost it when Margaret Thatcher walked in, and again when I recognized Peggy Noonan.
CNBC estimated it at "15 to 20,000". I think Baghdad Bob is their crowd counter.
I know. But do yourself a favor and watch these young 'uns coming up. My son's friends all use "cool" to describe patriotic people, and I regularly have ten-thirteen year olds come and join me on my street corner freeps. There was thread on FR the other day that called we X-ers "Generation Reagan", and today's teens and younger are the children of that generation, the one who's older members won the Cold War with Ron and who's younger members watched it being won in their formative years. I sense something good is going to happen here as we take over from the Boomers and when our kids take the torch from us.
My nine-year old has been asking me questions about Reagan all week...
WHere, LOL!
She's a Conservative.

There were Andy gumps right next to the Reagan Library lines...
