its hard to get a sense of how large that crowd is.
This funeral and its procession was
the nicest and most moving I've ever
witnessed.
I remarked to my husband that I hoped
President Reagan could see what all is
going on, and being the most devout man
I have ever met, he assured me he is
present and watching. I'd like to believe
that.
That photo is very touching. I've always had the feeling that Michael appreciated his father more or that he was more aligned with his father's thinking than either Ron or Patti.
I see folks slapping their legs or shoulders too often to wish I was there...bugs, doncha know.
The sunset shots I'm seeing on CSPAN now are quite gorgeous--it's the 'golden hour' and I think the cameramen know it. I sure wish I was there, but work does not permit.
DC is CommieVille too... where are they coming from?
Thank you to all of my Freeper friends for being here for each other. Thank you for all of the wonderful pictures. I must find some dinner now and take some meds due to a cold and fever. I love you all!
God Bless All!
I tuned in about 10 minutes before the procession arrived. CNN was doing an interview with a lady in the crowd. She was saying nice things, and said, "...and unlike some, we knew exactly where the Reagan stood and their morals," at which point the sound was immediately cut while the images and the interview continued. CNN anchor then stammers and lies about suddenly having audio problems with the interview.
I sincerely doubt there are people standing in that line, in the heat, drinking water with no potty privledges just for historical reasons!
Thank You!
IS THAT JOAN RIVERS??????????
Joan Rivers.
It will comfort her much to know just how much he was loved by WE THE PEOPLE
Yes, I remember that day very well. I was attending a very liberal univerisity, and there was a very small group of us who decided it would be best to leave the campus and celebrate that victory amoung the more joyous in the Chicago bars.
Joan Rivers !!
I won't watch O'Reilly so I am trying
to endure Chris Matthews, Andrea Mitchell
and I am stunned that they are "surprised"
by the sent off RWR is getting.
Hello, after all these years, these dopes
just don't get it or do not want to get it.
bttt
Do you know, I didn't recognise her, who the woman was in the front row in the rotunda, she was not wearing black. She looked to be wearing pink or some such (the color on my TV sux)? She was the only woman not wearing black of the congress critters. Just wondering what would possess someone to wear a spring suitdress to a funeral.
OMG! Did I just see Joan Rivers?
Was that Joan Rivers in black in the rotunda just now?
