Reagan preached a Gospel writ in burnished rows of steel...

I figured I could always fly my cat out to DC, so she could bury him in the sand.

Dude, I think that's a winner...

This is so heartbreaking. When Nancy touched the casket I nearly fell into the floor. They have shown the world how to do this for sure. I am sobbing, but this is also so beautifully done.

Are the people on the route who are clapping doing so out of respect, or clapping because they are happy he is dead, or both?

They were clapping to let Nancy know they appreciate and loved her husband and are "there for her".

They most certainly were not happy he was dead. It did not strike me as inappropriate in the least and now the media can't tell us people just came because of history. This proved they were there out of affection and approval of this great president.

Most race horses are gelded in the first to years of thier life before the even hit the track.

That is most decidedly not true. The greatest dollar value from horses is for their breeding services. Last year when Funnycide won the Kentucky Derby there was a lot of talk about the rarity of a such an expensive horse being gelded.

I'm thinking it is the peace of knowing that he has gone to his reward, after all the hardship of his last years

I know .. my mother had Alzheimer's and it's really hard to watch your loved one slip away like that

But it's but a really long day for Nancy

I honestly don't know how Nancy is doing it!

I dare say it's President Reagan's soul, being her strength when her frail form should have none.
