Political cartoonist Ted Rall's comment that the late President Ronald Reagan is "turning crispy brown right about now" provoked a reaction that crashed his Web site for at least 24 hours after the remark was posted on the Drudge Report.

ROTFLMAO!!! :)
"Still, I'm not a knee-jerk left-wing guy,"
But, you are a sicko communist who wishes harm on our troops.
The difference being that your "garden-variety Democrat circa 1972" usually displayed a little bit of class. Unlike Mr. Rall, and the present Dems.
"I think that this country has shifted so far over to the right that anyone who is a garden-variety Democrat circa 1972 is painted as a Marxist-Leninist."
No, we just think that someone with a penchant for insulting people who've just passed away is a terrible human being
I hope some day Ted Rall goes to sleep in his liberal new york apartment and wakes up overlooking the beautiful coastline of Guantanamo Bay Cuba held with his best buddies - Al Quaida terrorists.
Well put.
Thank'ee - some photospoofs just write themselves!
BTTT
Rall IS nothing unless he can kick over a hornet's nest every once and a while. He may find that this time, the hornets will be coming directly after his tender pink ass.

And if he were around and lucid, he would probably say that it comes with the territory.
The point is that Reagan is not alive and very recently died. So his hypotheical doesn't work. It is all too easy to claim that a deceased person would agree with you. After all, Siran Siran has tried that ploy at his parole board hearing. Also, Reagan was never mean-spirited in his comments. Once again Rall misses the mark.
If there is a hell, this guy is in it.
Why is he co-opting the imagery of Christianity if he does not believe it? Because atheism/agnostism has no imagery. Unfortunately, Rall doesn't realize that nothing matters if in this life only we have hope in Christ. That is the most desolate image of all.
I hope this fellow reaps his own whirlwind.
Rall is a lowlife who is hoping to vault himself to the slime-pantheon infected by Michael Moore and Al Franken, and grab the big bucks.
To that end, he's shaming himself on TV as much as possible with vile slanders.
But....
Sooner or later, Rall is going to walk into a bar and be recognized by some former or off-duty Army Rangers, who are going to remember his vicious slander of Pat Tillman.
He won't be on TV for a long time after that, not until he gets the bandages off, and learns how to walk and talk with formerly unused (but still functional) parts of his brain.
I can respect that. :)
Here's an interview I found with Ted on his own site (from 1997):
Tedrall: I think that punk's biggest effect so far has been to change
Tedrall: the way its fans think about themselves.
MnrThrt: so you look at it as more personal than macro?
Tedrall: I don't think it's going to send people to the barricades to
Tedrall: string up CEOs or anything. Unfortunately. MnrThrt: no punks rising up and anarchist revolutions?
Tedrall: Yeah, definitely, it's a personal thing. It's not a mass
Tedrall: movement, anyway...not enough people listen to punk.
MnrThrt: straight edge on the other hand...
Tedrall: It would be nice if it happened.
Tedrall: What I think is that at some point there will be a
Tedrall: revolutionary uprising. At that time a lot of people will
Tedrall: come together to fight, and many of them will be people
Tedrall: influenced by punk ideology. That's why they won't have
Tedrall: bought into the system.
MnrThrt: how about the idea of a race war in the US?--most punks
MnrThrt: will be out of luck!
Tedrall: A race war would be bad news, especially since I'd want to side
Tedrall: with the non-whites...and they'd want to kill me! MnrThrt: exactly
MnrThrt: I'd just have to hide out
Tedrall: But I think race, gender and other politics of division are
Tedrall: mere distractions from class differences.
Kill Whitey, eh Ted? UseLESS Idiot.
Clearly, he's burnin' in a disco inferno!
