BTTT This will be held at the same time as President Reagan's memorial in California. How very fitting. Lori, this will be perfect. I'm going. Anyone else want to meet up there? Let's do it for the Gipper!

I was wondering if a memorial would be held in WA. I just may go to this, if I can find a baby sitter. Thanks for posting. This is the first I heard of this, because I work when Kirby is on the radio.

Hi Navy, Kirby took a flight to CA today and was just on the air talking to John Carlson. There is a 3 hour wait to go past the casket and 60,000 people streaming by.

I think I just saw him on our local news here on the Central Coast. They interviewed him and said he was from WA State.
To: geopyg
Hi geopyg - I don't believe I've met you before. Nice to have you here. :)

Inspectorette, Kirby is a big bear of a man, and a sweetie as well. He worked (I believe) in the Reagan administration for a while. He's been a good friend to the FReepers in Puget Sound. BTTT ASD, we'll decide upon a place to meet up in Bothell.

Bothell? That's like central to nothing...and I work at 3:00pm. I'm not a government flunky that gets the day off. Now that I'm done sniveling, I'll try and make it but, Bothell?
