Reagan family has arrived in Santa Monica to escort President Reagan's body to his library.
Wonder why Jane Wyman hasn't had anything to say. She's still alive, I do think.
***Everybody is YAPPING, it seems like.......LOL.***
I think it's their training--they just can't help it! :-)
We missed that angle.
God love those firefighters! Like all of my fellow Freepers this is ripping at my heart. Today is my Mom's birthday, she passed on three years ago this month and now one of my Heroes is gone, but will always be in my heart and thoughts. Just a very sad day.
God Bless you Mr President
God Bless Nancy, Michael, Patti and Ron
God Bless our Troops
God Bless President Bush
God Bless America
There you go!!!!! If those people hadn't worked as hard as they did to turn this country onto itself, perhaps other people would have made other choices.
And I put John Kerry at the top of that list, damn him.
Ugh, Chris Matthews is a puke.
I just cant find it in my heart to watch any other channel then Fox. I only flip around to make sure every station is covering this and will stop at another station if they have a different camera angle.
If that was North Carolina, people would be stopping their cars and getting out!
I posted on another thread about the two cranes holding the flag---I don't think I've every gotten my threads mixed up before!
There was a man at the top next to the flag, too. I am so glad I saw that.
Approaching the 101 to proceed westbound.
Red
I still do, too.
And sometimes when I look at the pictures of WTC, I have to REMIND myself they are gone..........the horror!
He was going to lay in state for 1 day at the Regan Library and then go to the Capitol. He had 3 days there before being flown back to the Library for a sunset burial.
I think Michael is still married.
Maureen was still married to Dennis at the time of her death, in fact, they had adopted a daughter from a Third World country, can't remember which one.

Thank you
I just booked my flight for Washington D.C. I am sitting here in my office and realizing that RWR created the business climate with his tax cuts and labor policies that made the economic expansion of the last 20 years possible. We owe so much of the American dream to him.
Again, we're talking live coverage, not commentary disguised as news.
Then we went to an office supply store, where over the loudspeakers, they announced the national moment of silence. Everyone in the store, including my 3-4 young children & me, stopped in their tracks and bowed their heads for a minute or two. The bindery man was bending over his computer monitor. Two clerks were hugging & sobbing.
The Old Navy store was closed over the lunch hour so their employees could attend local prayer services. I'll never forget the feelings I had that day.
Today we are generating some more memories for the bittersweet days ahead.
We missed it. Watching a close in shot and only saw the flag. I am confident we'll see that shot again. That would make a good cover shot for a magazine.
