Reagan family has arrived in Santa Monica to escort President Reagan's body to his library.
Story on top of story on top of story.
The one that really does me in is the Secret Service agent who had to tell Reagan he couldn't ride horses at the ranch anymore.
I run when I see him on TV.
Also, when that girl laid the cowboy hat at the funeral home..........right over the edge.
Hoped to see this on c-span but they can't be bothered showing it. Repeating Washington Journal! sheesh!
The shot we saw we didn't see the FD trucks. Hook an ladder with American flag over the fwy! That was great!
That's just typical southern CA freeway traffic, looks to me.
I always wondered how much they'd have to practice to get it all right. One day I watched military people who had been killed as their coffins were taken from the planes to the limos. It was soooo touching. The people in the honor guard were so precise. They must count out absolutely all of their moves or something, to get it all right. What a show of respect for the person who has died!
am watching it on CBSnews.com
My word has streaming video improved over the years...almost like watching it on tv.
God bless you, Ronnie.
I still cry about 9-11. At the time, I lived next to LAX, in El Segundo. The silence (from having grounded the flights) was DEAFENING.
I personally asked two businesses to lower their flags to half staff...one was the local Post Office, and the other was a BMW repair shop. Both of them were very kind to me, regretting that they hadn't done it yet, and lowered the flags.
Everytime I saw a flag (even regular ones that couldn't be lowered to half-staff), I lost it. I saw the videos, I lost it. This is three years now, and I lost it. It's happening again. I'm sure I'll feel similarly when 41 passes.
My kids are 8 and 11.
My childhood was weird in that I turned out fine but my brother brought the entire liberal indoctrination and is still the same.
Mom died at age 44 when I was 22 but I have a huge feeling that she would have come around with the Clinton age and the internet and been freeping right along with me.
I'm cubicle-bound, but our managers have Fox News on in their offices, with the sound turned down. Maybe that's the best way to watch it if the anchors can't keep quiet.
MSNBC cameraman panned down the freeway and focused on them
She goes out to certain events.
Yeah, we were watching a zoom shot, didn't see the FD trucks. That was great!
Brian (not a lamb) is DOING what he really is, A LEFTIST! He can't "think."
Is Ron Reagan still married to Doria?
Is Michael Reagan still married to Colleen?
Was Maureen still married to Dennis Revell at the time of her death?
I really want to go to the library. I may make it happen.
***we can say the words to President Reagan that he said to the "unknown soldier".....Farewell, old friend.....***
And I'm sure he was greeted in heaven with "WELL DONE, good and faithful servant."
I dont doubt my parents love for me. My mom passed in 89 at age 44 and I know she loved and adored me. My father on the other hand, while I know he has loved me has made some very poor and unfortunate desisions over the years..the usual its everyone elses fault not mine. However for the most part I have stuck near him and we have a relationship but not as good as it had been in prior years. It could still turn around and get better. He is a part of the kids life and all and is doing well in those regards.
Frankly, MSNBC has done a LOT better job these last few weeks with the WWII Memorial, D-Day, and this.
*Ducking*
Of course I mean the LIVE stuff.......not Chris Matthews,e t al. (including Pat Buchanan!)
.
BUSH2 =
REAGAN1
.
Did Maureen have any children?
