I dont doubt my parents love for me. My mom passed in 89 at age 44 and I know she loved and adored me. My father on the other hand, while I know he has loved me has made some very poor and unfortunate desisions over the years..the usual its everyone elses fault not mine. However for the most part I have stuck near him and we have a relationship but not as good as it had been in prior years. It could still turn around and get better. He is a part of the kids life and all and is doing well in those regards.

I'm sorry your mom is not here for you. You must miss her greatly, esp. with your kids not knowing her. FReepmail to you . . .

I am sorry you had to lose your mother at such a young age. It's good that you do have forgiveness for your father, even with his failings. I hope he may achieve some wisdom and insight as he gets older and that your children will benefit from your good relationship with him.
