I saw Mrs. Reagan on the tube a few minutes ago. For all I know, this is the first time she's been out of the house in years. sigh

GOD willing, we will continue to have George W. Bush as president for another four years, and I think he'll be even more forceful in passing CONSERVATIVE, GOD LOVING AND FEARING AND RESPECTING legislation.

I wish someone who collect all the wonderful stories about President Reagan and put them in book form. THAT book would be a best seller, I'm sure, and the proceeds could go to the Reagan Library.

Is traffic on in the opposite lanes of that freeway stopped out of respect or due to highway construction?

The crowd applauded when the coffin appeared, and again when Nancy got into the limo to go. She looked touched and waved.

Michael is adopted, but I think Maureen was his and Jane Wyman's biological daughter. I always thought Maureen resembled Jane a lot. I may be wrong, though.

What a site of the two crane reaching over the fwy from both sides, with a huge American flag drapped directly over the fwy on the Sepulveda Pass.

I just keep refilling my Ronald Reagan Library coffee mug and raise it in a toast to a fallen leader and a great President. God Bless you President Reagan. Rest in Peace, Sir.

It was a very regrettable time.
I bear no malice toward those who tried to stay out of it.
I do, however, bear tremendous malice toward those who worked to undermine the administration and the war.
They created an atmosphere of self doubt and fear. They used that fear to cause congress to stop supporting the effort and that put our troops in harms way. Many died as a direct result of the political battles and demoralized leadership.
After it was all over, we tried to forget but forgetting was not the answer.
Reagan knew that the only answer was a renewal of spirit and esprit decor. He accomplished that through his words and his actions.
He made us whole again.
I am forever in his debt. WE are forever in his debt.
