I really don't care who runs, I won't be able to vote.
My horoscope said that I will commit, be tried for and be found guilty of a felony.
I may still vote for the democrat.

Welcome to Free Republic. A word of caution: not many people here like Pat. I voted for him exactly because of his stance on border issues.
He's no longer a viable candidate.

I like Ted's position on guns, venison and rock 'n roll but I don't much like his position on porking females not happening to be his wife.

This isn't about Warren Rudman or the Christian Coalition, the NRLC, James Dobson or GWBush. This is about John McCain, political mavarick and royal pain in the arse. You still haven't supplied any evidence that John McCain isn't pro-life.
There are some elected officials who believe that efforts to overturn Roe v Wade in the current political climate, is unwise. Most American's oppose abortion on demand, but when it comes to overturning Roe v Wade, most American's want it to remain in force.
Again, there are plenty of issues where I oppose John McCain, but he has stated time and again, that he remains a pro-life Republican. You're free to disagree with his public remarks on the abortion issue.
This is similiar to the all the BS over whether or not McCain would accept Kerry's offer of VP. McCain has said time and again, he will remain in the Republican Party, won't run for VP and supports the relelction of GWBush.

A Powell/Condi ticket would give Demonrats fits. Would African Americans favor it? Many would, but not nearly a majority. The Republican taint would obviate all other considerations for them. However, the ticket would be a likely winner. They are not going to be nominated, especially on the same ticket. And didn't Powell express a disinclination to run for president years ago?

Didn't know about that. She's a very pretty lady too.

Pat Buchanan would blow the the recently enhanced Jewish GOP vote. Not that he's anti-semite but perceptions are everything.
