Limbaugh just said that Tenet has planned along to resign, that he was just waiting till after the election to do it. That there really are personal reasons involved. Okay, but why leave now? Why chum the waters? If he's got a non-job related reason I hope he comes out with it, just to clear the air.
Fox just announced that "any minute" they will be getting a tape of Tenet speaking to........phone ringing, drat it. missed the last part. To his CIA employees?
Government and politics is a dirty business - add money and ego to the mix - anything can happen going forward.
There are major differences, some that you even mention, between the way Clarke was used in the administration and the way Tenet was. Sorry, but drawing any suspicion from Clarke's behavior that Tenet will behave in the same way is ludicrous.

in my opinion, this incident is very serious - and worthy of carping.
Please get your facts straight about who spreads their legs for who before you post. For example, Teresa spread hers for Heinz but his plane fell out of the sky and splattered like ketchup after you have bashed the bottle on it's bottom too much. So, Teresa hit the jackpot and got all the money.
Then Teresa married the longfaced Frenchman from Vietnam and then bought him bicycles and snow boards and surf boards and Botox and Harleys and even got him an airplane that says he's already president. We are not sure who longfaces daughters have been spreading their legs for but they will be happy to show them their tits if you want.

Just arrived and am catching up. Don't know if anyone has made this guess, but suppose the man wrote his resignation because he may truly have illness in his family or himself?
