I just forced myself to watch it again and again and have altered what I understand about the video.
There a total of FOUR places where the time skips around.
The FIRST scene time stamp begins at 13:26:24 and runs until 13:26:27.
It then skips to the SECOND scene 2:18:33 and runs to 2:18:43. The first two are statements by Berg.
It then skips to the THIRD Scene at 2:40:33 with the Islamofascist making statements until 2:44:12 when they drag him to the floor by the hair. Berg appears calm and unconcerned but alert.
Then the time stamp suddenly skips to the FOURTH scene at 13:45:47 and appears to be the same scene where the actual beheading began. At 13:45:00 Berg appears to struggle and convulse as they start to cut but this may be the terrorists jostling. The man with the knife doing the deed is wearing a BLACK hood and the man on his back is wearing a WHITE hood. This scene runs to 13:46:33 where the head is almost fully severed.
The FIFTH scene jumps to 13:47:46 where the man in the WHITE hood appears to be completing the grisly task and holds up Berg's head as a surprise.
The apparent chronological order of occurrence in scenes APPEARS to be 2nd, 3rd, FIRST, 4th, and 5th, but truthfully, the first scene may have been made the previous day.
For some reason after the third scene, they "re-enacted" the execution and for other unknown reasons, they also "re-enacted" the lifting of the severed head.
I am a country boy and have seen animals slaughtered where their carotid artery is severed seconds after they are shot in the brain. The blood squirts out in a 5 foot stream. There is no apparent heart beat during the actual beheading as no blood squirts.
He never screams, "Please!", "No!" or anything that appears to be anything other than guttural yells.
Possibly something like, "wait, this wasn't in the script!"
Well i dont wish any one to look at the video of the russian but there is a big descrepancy in the ways the blood comes out...I am sorry this is just sick!
More likely, the Islamos get the unrated version.

Yes, there is some blood. But not the amount of blood that comes from a living body with a beating heart.
P.S. But I appreciate your analysis and it made me realize that two cameras WERE used with gaps in the editing for some unknown purpose.
P.P.S. Do you think that White Hood finished the job after Black Hood couldn't manage to cut between the bones of the spinal column?

As for keeping up, I don't have time to read every single thread on a subject.
Last I knew, yeah he had some links to terrorists, but nothing substantial.
Plus, he was a Bush supporter, even helping out at the 2000 convention.

I could greatly respect someone who wanted to stuff your post in every available orifice of Berg's father.

I forced myself to watch the video, because I knew this was something I had to do, draw my cnclusions and be done with this lesson.
I am a country boy too and I have also seen animals being killed. When animals are first electrocuted and then their blood drained, the flow is not as strong.
I also noticed how still and calm he was throughout all this lengthy speech - his body language was inadequate for the kind of situation he was in.
Today I also heard from some TV stations , that he had been learning Arabic and that he met with his deceased sister's husband. This makes me think that he probably knew at least a little Arabic to know what was about to happen.
My conclusions:
1) He was drugged with some drug or medicine, which slows down the heartbeat - this explains why the flow of blood was not strong and his behaviour during the speech, as well as the lack of any violent response to the attackers when they did it;
2) The screams are too long, compared to the time of the killing. After the first cut, there could be no more screams;
3) The above 2 points make me conclude that the killers must have recorded him screaming before that by using some scary tactic to make him scream while he was conscious;
(BTW, do we have samples of his voice from home videos, speeches or other sources? Have those been compared to the screams in the video? Do we know for sure these are his screams and not somebody elses?)
We all know the rest. Obviously their main goals are:
1) to deliver the message to their supporters - "Allah akbar', etc., i.e. recruiting purpose among Muslims;
2) to deliver a message to everybody in the USA camp and to those who think of joining the US camp - this is what expects you, if you do not give up and leave;
It is gruesome, sickening and IMO very miscalculating on their part. This deed did not promote their cause.
Not necessary. The skull sits on a projection and can be easily removed. It is primarily muscle which holds it in place.
WOuld that be the case for the Russian beheaded by Chechens? His blood didn't spurt either.
In fact, I don't think it's true that blood has to SPURT, it may pour out or what have you, but if that Russian POW video is any indication, blood need not spurt out when a head is being sawed off.
I really do not want to listen that close to try to determine what he was screaming.
It was horrendous enough without trying to pick out his words.
