Where is the outrage?
- Press release
5/12/2004
Republican U.S. Senate candidate Herman Cain issued the following statement on the war on terror:
My prayers go out to the family of Nick Berg, who was brutally murdered at the hands of Iraqi militants. The lack of response from around the world concerns me.
Where is the international outrage over this young mans death? The lack of indignation over the death of one of our Americans is another reason why we cannot trust the international community to protect freedom around the world.
This is why we are fighting in Iraq. We are fighting to stop the brutal murder of innocent life. We are fighting for the freedom of every person to live without fear. Make no mistake. Freedom and democracy will prevail.
On Sept. 11, 2001, the terrorists came to the United States with the sole purpose of killing as many people as possible. These are the people that will strap a bomb to a child and let him or her die to kill us. This is not a rational enemy that we are fighting. We must not forget that the terrorists are our enemy and that we must stay united here at home.
If they think this will destroy our resolve, they obviously did not learn from 9-11. It was because of our freedom that we were ruthlessly attacked on that day, and it is because of our freedom that we persevere. We must always remember that freedom has never been free and we must continue to fight for it around the world.
This is further evidence that we must move forward in the war on terror. We need to allow our administration and our Defense Department to do their jobs. We cannot allow anymore witch hunts to distract the United States from the fight. When we keep our leaders from doing their jobs, we are helping the cause of the terrorists.
In this time of war, we cannot thank our brave soldiers enough for the sacrifice they are making. Lets send our soldiers and the terrorists a message: we will stay the course and we will win the fight for freedom.

The muslims in Hamtramck Mi. were pretty vocal about getting their 5 times daily prayer broadcast across the city every day. They got their way and are now silent on the brutal murder.
WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

Where's the Outrage? There is none because (1) the demoncRATS with their lapdogs mainstream media are trying to deflect criticism of themselves because 16 demoncRAT congresspersons knew about Abu Ghraib, (2) the demoncRATS by playing the offensive are trying to make it a partisan political gain for Ketchupman and the party, (3) Berg was Jew, (4) they don't want to "offend" the islamic world by being bad ole Americans, (5) Abu Ghraib inmates are alive and Berg is dead is "who cares" mentality. That's just a few. But, as an American, I care about the atrocity done to a 26 year old American. I don't care about Abu Ghraib.

Wow. Now that will get my North Atlanta vote, proudly.
He has great timing. People are raging mad over this and the media is putting it on the back burner.

I really don't know, but we ought to encourage people with his courage. His opponent may be a good senator or senate candidate.
More of a general "support people in our party willing to speak up" kind of endorsement!

The Georgia U.S. Senate race has three Republican candidates (alledgedly). Herman Cain, Johnny Isakson, Mac Collins. The latter two are congressmen. Isakson and Collins did not have a clue and were attacking each other all along (on radio/tv ad's, on their websites and in debates). The most conservative candiate Herman Cain has the grassroots support behind him. He is a professional problem solver and not a career politician. He heavily supports the Fair tax. Now the other two are attacking Herman Cain. Get on the Cain Train!
Read and listen to him hear:

I forgot to add the obvious: The U.S. Senate seat in Georgia is being vacated by retiring Zell Miller so there is no incumbent. This race will likely go to a run off. When it does, it goes national. The first African-American Republican senator in modern times and hes from the south.
When Herman Cain wins the Republican nomination, he will likely be against Democrat Denise Majette (another African-American). If there are any racists left in Georgia, they will stay home. Net result: a Reaganite Conservative Senator! I love it when a plan comes together! :)

The first African-American Republican senator in modern times and hes from the south.Depends on what you consider modern times, I guess. Edward Brooke was a black Republican senator from Massachusetts from 1967 to 1979.
To: nuconvert
Send him some money and/or tell anyone you know in Georgia about him! We need this man in the U.S. Senate!

Wonder who the AJC will support?
To: lilylangtree
I agree with you 100%.
But .. the key statement I read: "The lack of indignation over the death of one of our Americans is another reason why we cannot trust the international community to protect freedom around the world."
This is why we cannot allow Kerry to get elected. Not only does Kerry and his wife HATE America, the majority of Kerry's "foreign" friends feel the same.

"Wonder who the AJC will support?"
Isakson has the name ID in metro Atlanta. Cain is digging that up. Isakson has never won a statewide race. Cain is the only candidate with an office outside of Atlanta (his 2nd office is in South Georgia). Isakson was the initial choice of a lot of Republicans in Atlanta just cos they didn't know Cain... and that might turn the AJC against Isakson! Cain was definitely the underdog at the start!
Grassroots are Cain.
Collins and Cain are the conservatives in this race. In the run off the conservatives will unite. Herman Cain! Herman Cain! Herman Cain!
