Kristinn just called me and asked me to post this thread.
He just called CBS Evening News and asked them if they were going to show the militant Islamists' video of the beheading of American Nick Berg.
The woman who answered the phone said that they were going to do a story on it, but they were NOT going to show the full video.
He asked them, "Why not, since you had no problem showing the pictures of the Iraqis being abused by our guys in the prison. Don't you think turnabout is fair play?"
The woman got mad and said, "Thank you for your comment." and then hung up the phone.
Call CBS Evening News and let your voice be heard!

I emailed the link to you.
Watch it.
Everyone should see it.
Then compare that to some "prison abuse."

I agree. I also believe that the press today has taken to much on themselves and that we have allowed it.
Ever since Vietnam, it seems that we have been exposed to many horrific sights on the news and even in regular view just for the sake of "ratings".
They, as well as the print media, have found that this is the kind of thing that the majority of Americans respond to. Perhaps if we didn't give the dubious pleasure of responding, there would be less and less of it.
According to one story this is exactly what the parents didn't want to have happen.

I just called and the poor woman at the phones is beside herself. She is there alone and the phones are going to beat the band!!!!!! She put me on hold three times in less than a minute to try and answer other calls. I told her I am APPAULED at CBS and that I will NEVER watch their station again. That they are aiding and abetting the enemy. BOY AM I MAD!!!!!!!!!!!Great work, everyone!

"they seem just as bent on the destruction of the USA"YOU got it in a nutshell. The sad thing is about the the most we can expect to accomplish is maybe lower their ratings into the toilet where they belong. But that will not stop any of us from fighting the good fight.

How do these people get away with HANGING UP ON THEIR CUSTOMERS?! Maybe it's more like hanging up on their non-customers. I think most of us already knew what CBS has been about --- not the news but about a political agenda.

The media knows they cannot keep the prison "abuse" story alive once this video is shown - its over at that point.
if this video were of US soldiers beheading an iraqi, it would be shown in full, 24x7.
