Sen. John Kerry has begun a $25 million advertising campaign by portraying himself as a long-standing fiscal conservative whom Americans can trust as their next commander in chief. In Mr. Kerry's case, however, the roles of fiscal conservative and commander in chief are mutually exclusive, if the past two decades are any guide.

All politicians, are bad! They are either "tax and spend" liberals or they are, "create huge deficit's" conservatives. It all comes down to the little guy paying for it one way or another. Tax us now or tax us later, its coming out of our pockets or our childrens pockets.

uhm, whatever dirt you can lay on Kerry, Dubya's fiscal record is hardly better. All mainstream politicians are big spenders, and all you can do is vote Constitution/Libertarian party, who'll never win anyway. I guess we're all doomed ;)
