To: Steve_Seattle; Mo1
"Classified documents and pictures were leaked to the press." Did Rummy say that? If that is true, then will we have the press and the Dems clamoring for an investigation of illegal leaks that jeopardize the lives of American soldiers? No way.
Yes, he said it. I believe I saw Mo1 make note of it, too....Mo?
To: Howlin

I think I LOVE Joe Lieberman!! He said it better than anyone. None of the terrorists apologized, they drag our citizens and soldiers bodies behind cars, they burn them, they mutilate them, THEY DON'T APOLOGIZE.

Rumsfeld and the generals gave exactly the right kind of speech. This is a good administration. I believe what they say.Yes, that is my impression as well. This is what makes us different (and better) than so many other political systems. Of course, at least half of the Democrats would aid and abet our enemies if it would restore them to power. They vision of America is one without us in it.

There is great and obscene gnashing of teeth over in DUmmyland over Lieberman's words. That's the final proof we need he's got it right.

Rumsfeld Takes Responsibility For Prisoner Abuse, Apologizes
VOA News

Donald Rumsfeld testifies before Congress, Friday
U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld says he is taking full responsibility for the abuse of Iraqi prisoners in U.S. custody.
Speaking to the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee, Mr. Rumsfeld said that as secretary of defense, he is accountable for what happened to the prisoners.
He offered what he said was his "deepest apology" to Iraqis who suffered the mistreatment at the hands of U.S. soldiers. He also said he would seek compensation for the victims of abuse.
