A trial is not an apology.

If Im not mistaken some of those involved have already had their trials/hearings. None have had a trial to date. It is still being investigated.

Those involved owe first of all their fellow soldiers an apology. The damage has been done.
To: jmstein7
What you may not know is that each soldier was castrated before being shot in the head.

Great point Mo.
I have heard no condemnation from the Dems over the mutilation, torture and murder of American soldiers and citizens risking their lives to remake that hellhole of a country into a safe, modern nation.
All they ever demand is an apology from President Bush.

Oh my god!

You should send that over to the democratic underground. They would say we deserved it...just like they said about Pat Tillman.

Iraqis chant anti-American slogans as charred bodies hang from a bridge over the Euphrates River in Fallujah, west of Baghdad, Wednesday, March 31 2004. Enraged Iraqis in this hotbed of anti-Americanism killed four foreigners Wednesday, including at least one U.S. national, took the charred bodies from a burning SUV, dragged them through the streets, and hung them from the bridge. (AP Photo)
Where are the apologies for these atrocities? Why are the stories about tortured and dead Amerian contractors not in the news and discussed for days on end? Is there any comparison...a few alive nude terrorists with hoods? I am thoroughly disgusted...with sheeple and the liberal "Americans and Always Wrong" media.

My grown daughter asked me to look at these pictures and explain what it meant.I had not looked before out of sadness,I knew the implications.
I am aware of the double standards, but I know this. Our active duty military is very angry at the people who abused the prisoners. They do not excuse it,they hate it.

This is what we saw here at home.
Those are Americans, dead, shot at point blank, their pants pulled down
This is why I don't feel sorry for what happened to those Iraqis at all.
Long Cut, you have a point about REMF types, but still: This is war. And this is what they do to us, and all we did was scare them? All we did was make them pose for pictures?
. These are Americans, too. These are the guys from that protective organization that were killed by a bomb last month. Where is the Iraqi apology for this?
Playing nice with savages goes fine in the Embassy suite, but not in real life.
These savages need to be humbled, and surely!
I have no sympathy for those prisoners.
I have sympathy for the families of those who were killed in Iraq, in Afghanistan, and at home.
