Item did not meet MSNBC standards of fairness and taste
MSNBC.com pulled a cartoon by syndicated political cartoonist Ted Rall on Monday.
Ralls cartoon, distributed widely by United Press Syndicate to scores of newspapers and Web sites, concerned the late Pat Tillman, the NFL player who quit football to join the Army. Tillman was killed last month in Afghanistan.

The Rall piece was pathetic at best.
Rall shows his anti-Americanism, and denigrates Pat Tillman's memory with his bilge.
I'm sure there's a special place in hell reserved for Rall.
Just damn.
If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...

That's the only way the words "fairness" and "taste" will appear in the same sentence with "Ted Rall."
To: mhking
Item did not meet MSNBC standards of fairness and taste Do they mean to imply that there are some things Ted Rall produces that do meet standards of fairness and taste?

No kidding, their standards apparently are very, VERY low.

MSNBC.com Editor in chief Dean Wright concluded Mondays Rall item did not meet MSNBC.com standards of fairness and taste.
So now they are claiming to have standards of fairness and taste. Now that is news.

Really. Boy that was a hard decision, eh?
What a twisted mind Rall must have. Slate really needs to reconsider its carrying of his work.

Rall is a talentless, POS hack.

Rall calls Tillman an 'idiot'....
The equivalent of 'baby-killer' for the new millennium....
Amazing how the Left is so true to themselves....

Rall is normally in bad taste and is a consistent representative of the loony left.
He really went over the top this time, however, hoping to generate buzz for a new "book" scheduled out at the end of April. Very tacky and shameless.

BARF ALERT:
If anyone's curious (and there's no reason to be), the cartoon is showing here:
http://www.ucomics.com/tedrall
Be warned: it's absolutely revolting. It mocks not only the intelligence and courage of Tillman, but also the U.S. military. How anyone can create such a "work" and then get snippy when folks (rightly) label him un-American is utterly beyond me.

Beat me! :-)
Anyone remember the Rall strip that cause such an uproar (around the time of Toon's impeachment, iirc)? Thought I'd never forget it, but it seems I have. At least I remember his name.

Apparently, Bush is doing an awful poor job of stealing Iraqi oil, because I had to take out a second mortgage today to fill up the Jeep.

And yet they still publish Howard Fineman after his pathetic racist diatribe against Condi Rice.
To: tomahawk
Sorry for the omission. It's just that I felt no reason to state the obvious.
