BREAKING NEWS - FEDS ARREST EAST CLEVELAND MAYOR

BREAKING NEWS Feds arrest East Cleveland Mayor Federal agents this morning arrested East Cleveland Mayor Emmanuel Onunwor on a 22-count indictment for accepting "bribes, kickbacks and secret payoffs" over his career as a city official. A federal grand jury has been investigating Onunwor and other city officials since last year. In January, the grand jury indicted the city's former community development director on charges of channeling federal money to her relatives through "front companies" and accepting kickbacks in return. The U.S. attorney's office said Onunwor solicited and received numerous bribes from unspecified "intermediaries" that span his career as East Cleveland City Council president, community development director and mayor. Onunwor is to appear in court this afternoon.

If by that you mean poor then yeah i think most of it can be described that way. The mayor however lives in a small enclave of E cleveland called forest hills close to another suburb of cleveland and has a substantially higher level of income and education and also different demographics. Lots of professionals especially blacks almost all of which have no children cause the public schools are one of the worst in the state. If you have kids you live elsewhere. Taxes are super cheap and the houses are amazing mostly. Cheap taxes however didnt stop the mayor and the rest of his ilk from paying on time and in full. He and the public school sup didnt pay taxes for the last couple of years i think which mostly go to the bottomless pit of the school system. Laughable really. Theres a few republicans around here though. People think otherwise but its not true.

Steffie Tubbs-Jones's district. Rumor is, she actually lives here too. If he did it, nobody heard about it. He also may have been strong armed so it wouldn't embarrass Tubbs-Jones after Kerry appointed her to the DNC. They are tight.

Ms. Tubbs-Jones is a walking, talking embarrassment unto herself - a true product and symptom of everything that is wrong with the current state of law schools in this country. I met her once and remember distinctly that she was dressed in a bright orange frilly fringe covered pantsuit. She looked like a fat stupid walking pumpkin. She is also arguably the most unqualified elected official I have ever met. Her intellect, or lack thereof, makes Star Jones look like Clarence Darrow and Sheila Jackson-Lee look like Felix Grundy by comparison.

The stinking libs and their hand-up-their-backs trial-lawyer owners, operators and controllers took it out of the nation's courtrooms, where it belongs, and into the mouths of liberals and their lickspittles and other assorted lunies -- and into the public arena -- where it has no relevence.

Reasonable and intellectually and morally solvent men, without in any way effecting due process, have always been able to make reasonable deductions as to the guilt or innocence of those facing allegations and/or charges -- and we still are.
