Donald H. Rumsfeld was sworn in as the 21st Secretary of Defense on January 20, 2001. Before assuming his present post, the former Navy pilot had also served as the 13th Secretary of Defense, White House Chief of Staff, U.S. Ambassador to NATO, U.S. Congressman and chief executive officer of two Fortune 500 companies.

Of course these are parodies of actual quotes, but sometimes when he speaks it has a bit of a poetic ring, no?

It's easy to see his passion when he speaks.

Donald Rumsfeld has served us well as Secretary of Defense. I can't think of anyone more deserving of the title.

Sorry I'm just getting back to your post, dutchess........been a little busy lately myself!

I'm planning on being there on the 29th, and my Bush/Cheney contact in Columbus wants to have the media there since it's a Party for the President involving 2 states, and he thought that was very cool!

I'm a little late to this thread, but I have to say thank you! Rummy is one of my faves! The way he handles the press in his "not gonna take your BS" way is just awesome!
