The BIG loser tonight was our National Press Corps. Their bias, indignation, and even scorn, against President Bush was laid out for all to see. I give them at the most, 10 more years doing business as usual. Yes, the president clearly is taking on the Nat. Press Corps as he wages his war on terror. Not an easy thing to do, but a thing that has become easier because of the Internet, FOX News and talk radio.
Here's hoping he does similar in his second term by waging a war against high government spending. The time would be right.

Were you watching TV or listening on the radio?
I was watching on TV -- he was the BEST!! Relaxed. Didn't accept the press' ludicrous, pedantic questions. Quick on his feet.

Michael Savage He is a loon.
He was absolutely shameful tonight saying he supports the president's actions, but he can't support the president because of his lack of speech-making skills. Savage thinks dramatic oratory (such as Clinton's teary-eyed-lip-biting) is more important to the leadership of the nation than courage and integrity.

I disagree.
If anyone who is undecided (and objective) watched him, and have seen anything of Kerry lately, they'd pick the President hands down.
Trustworthiness in time of war is critical. That's what's going to win over the swing voters, IMO.

"Peaceful Tomorrows," Teresa Heinz Kerry's paid attack dog group whom the press craftily refers to as "families of 9-11 victims" will probably issue a rebuttal to this woman:
"She isn't a real 9-11 victim family person. OK, technically she is but she's not doing it right."

Me neither!....and I agree that he was and is verbose and boring!!... and untruthful!

I totally agree with you about Clinton. He was an awful speaker, since he loved the sound of his own voice and droned on forever. Too many people fall for the MSM and their view of him and the spin put on what he said.
I could not ever listen to him, since he never really said anything. Empty words.

The choice isn't between Clinton and Dubya. It never was. Yes. And that's why the Dims felt free to use the 9-11 "Inquisitional Tribunal" to attack GW, because any fault of the Clinton Admin (and by extension, the Dims) would be swept away as irrelevent to the future (to discern why that is not necessarily true would take far more attention span than the sheeple possess). But that aside, IMO GW has truth on his side, which I believe will carry his cause (and our cause) to victory in November. The fact is, folks (sheeple included) look FORWARD when voting, and IMO most will find GW's message far more compelling than that of the duplicitous Kerry.

Quit your sniveling. Life is tough, try harder.
YOU CAN do it.
On second view, you CAN'T do it, no point in your even trying, waste of good time, give it up, blow your
pitiful brains out in the street. (save bandwidth)
Have a nice day.

we are just going to have to bite the bullet and buy the lexan glass panel to set in front of the television to repell thrown objects.

I think the questions were not very good and left the President no easy way to handle them.
They were questions like "When did you stop beating your wife".
They were dumb questions that were hard to follow or answer. He did what he could with the junk he was given and then went on to make his own points.

Sounds like you an I share the same high regard for the great President Reagan.
Yup...all except the part where you blame game this President for your employment problems. That makes no sense at all.

He apparently can not speak better. That hurts him. Try flipping your view point. In a slick, choreographed politician set up, Bush would not do well - Clinton and Kerry would. However, much of the voting public is sick and tired of the slick, sound bite polish. Pres. Bush has a more open and straight style of speech that resonates with flyover country and increases his appeal.

I sensed that the press was overwhelmed in the press conference. They will never admit it, but I think GWB controlled the discussion and when he brought everyone back to reality re: the WOT, the press had no come back.
GWB ended the presser very very strong.
