We've all done it. You've just gotten home, logged on to FR, and are scrolling down the "Latest Posts" page, deciding which thread will get your attention this evening, when THAT SCREENNAME jumps out at you in a "to" or "from" position. You are powerless to resist; if THAT GUY's there, it's gonna be a good thread...
All of us have our own "favorites" among the many colorful souls who congregate at this fine website. They could be someone you disagree totally with, agree completely with, or somewhere in between. They might be a fount of useful information, links, and facts. Our favorite might be devastating at the art of debate; demolishing opponents in truly unique style, or he might be just plain nuttier than squirrel dung, but fun nonetheless.
Perhaps your favorite FReeper has a way with words; an excellent writer. Maybe they are someone highly experienced in a particular field, with knowledge that many do not posess. Maybe they're dumber than a bag of hammers.
Point is, no matter what the reason, our "favorite FReepers"' handle attached to a thread makes it all the more interesting to us; it guarantees a wild ride or sublime pleasure in the reading and learning. It may also guarantee an increase in blood pressure and indigestion, but one thing's for sure...that thread HE's on is gonna get a hit or two, and it won't be boring.
I've got more than a few of my own, and I'm sure all of you do as well. WHO'S YOURS?????????????????

If I ever see that Deb has posted, I'll virtually always click to see what little thought-grenade she's tossed.

I know, somewhat late in responding, but I've been offline for the past 10 days.
*chuckle*
Very comforting to hear, normal coffee that is.
Unless the 'victim' is deserving of the hideous stuff..

You know, I've never tried to float a brick in my sludge.
Spoons, and assorted other coffee fixing items, but no bricks as of yet.
Going to have to try it.

I'm happy to see you back, I don't know what exactly happened to your connection.
Don't try floating a brick in your coffee....
It just may float and you'd never drink it again.
not that you ever did..... : )

Thanks for teh mentions.
I'm back after my 10 day hiatus offline.
*sigh*
Trying to play 'catchup', but seemingly lost in the foggy moors of "Last Week Land".
Good taste in music? (me??? Hmm.. Shawn Colvin's "Sunny Came Home" or Roxette's "Queen Of Rain" if you can find them anywhere.. Have them personally as mp3's..)
Sweets, Just where is Parsifal anyway?
Not sick I hope, got too many people down sick currently.

*shudders*
Making a good run at besting my current brew.
Condensing down some coffee into a thick sludgy goo.
The main system I'm networked through was down for the 10 days.
Gave me time to scribble stuff down on paper as I do.
Have a drawing I'm trying to finalise now.
Makes for some interesting wandering as well.
FR withdrawl is horrible.

Nah, parsy's not sick (well, no moreso than typical parsy, anyway) More like he's just too busy. I talk to him regularly though. I told him tbat Jim gave us the go ahead on the new forum to discuss the DU. I figured that should entice him back if anything will seeing's how he likes to play in the cesspool.

AAAAACCCCCCKKKKKKK
I've so tried to stay off this thread out of fear that I would miss someone and I keep turning around and finding more and more folks mentioning me........YIKES.
Thank you, all.
Max McGarrity is no longer with us, but if it weren't for her I wouldn't have gotten so involved with FR. I miss her posts so badly.
It wasn't that long ago that SheLion lost her beloved FReeper spouse,(who's screen name I am sorry to say I can't recall at the moment.)
So in keeping with my attempt to insult no one...I will only mention those 2 as my Favorite FReepers.
