How long have the nutty widows been on Matthews' show? I think dissection of their rants started at least half an hour ago. You'd think someone would have pulled the plug by now. I know that when my crazy great-aunt started ranting, we usually tried to encourage her to take a nap about 15 minutes into the rant.

I had an emergency so I had to leave very suddenly and missed the last hour and 45 minutes.
Would you mind telling me how Dr. Rice did?
You don't have to give a lot of detail, I'll go back later and read the entire thread, but I don't have time now and I'm really curious.
Thanks,
Tammy

Having Condoleeza Rice testify at this hearing was never about learning any truths about the 9/11 attacks. It was and is a ploy by the left to perpetuate their anti-Bush agenda via the media (their allies) and to get their Frenchman elected. This was proven countless times in todays hearings as various Democrats continually brought up the war in Iraq and made pointed accusations and often hostile attacks in the line of questioning. This was a witch-hunt by the left pure and simple.
What the left didnt count on was Rices intelligence, even-tempered and concise answers to their increasingly hostile questions. She made them look foolish. The Dems are going to be SCRAMBLING and SPINNING on every media outlet they can. Sadly, they will have lots of help from the ABC/NBC/CBS talking heads, but anybody who watched the hearings will have seen the TRUTH. It doesnt get better then that!

It's obvious they were Bush haters before 9/11.

A few somber pauses would have been appropriate.Clear, she's not the "drama queen" that Tricky Dick Clarke is.

I know but he is harping about minutia, about failing to connect the dots and you can bet he will manufacture write a story around that idea.

Two things: Dr. Rice kept talking about improving security "structure". Translation: the US gestapo wants MORE "Patriot" Acts to spy on even MORE of our private lives to weed-out the "troublemakers" 1984.
Other thing: they are SO concerned about "watching the borders" Funny thing; they apparently don't know about the border between the US and Mexico.

The ABC news summary at the top of the hour said Keane's overall view is that the Clinton Adminstration was too disorganized to do anything about terrorism.
The clinton administration was too busy getting their "rocks" off to pay attention to the important issues of the day. Disorganization was only part of it. At leat ABC is finally repeating something right!

My question - exactly!!
To: Mo1; Howlin
For once I'm glad I'm at work. At least I don't have to listen to the widows whining.
How does this woman (or any of them) plan to get elected to the Senate? On the "sympathy" vote? Sorry, it won't fly with me.
