I wasn't praising him yesterday but I have seen him go after members of the Clinton administration with equal vigor. Notice his smirk at the end, he couldn't get the best of Condi like he did the Clinton team. I have met many educators like him, they are hostile for the purpose of testing your position.

Notice Rice's posture. She has arms spread out, taking up space, which is a power look. She is smiling but looks focused and determined. On a purely technical matter, regardless of what she is saying (and she is creaming the panel left and right), she is doing an outstanding job and I would give her a 10 out of 10 on presentation. If she is doing anything wrong, it is speaking too fast, but that is a matter of style that seems to work for her.

Actually, it's great that she waited till the end to mention the Clarke misnomer thing (and heaven knows he gave her yet another opp!) because now K's staggering away thinking, "Dang, how many times DID I say that!" with his forced smile and uncontrolled shaking hands.

Overall, she is hauling some serious a$$. She dismissed each one of the Dem commissioners, but she did it the best the last time with Kerrey. When she quoted from his speech and tossed his own words back at him, it was game--set--match.
