I'll give it to you in four words: Veni, Vidi, Vici: CONDI.
She came, she saw, she kicked a**.
To: kjam22
She's doing good and I support her, but she's kinda in a no win situation. The best she can hope for is that the American public decides that we were doing what previous admins had done, and that there were internal reasons that we didn't do a good job. 1,523 posted on 04/08/2004 10:42:05 AM EDT by kjam22
Horse manure.
Bin Laden declared war on the United States of America in 1996.
At that time Jamie Gorelick was a member of the Clinton Administration. Slade Gorton was a sitting senator. Lee Hamilton was a sitting Congressman. Bob Kerrey was a sitting Senator.
They, along with every member of Congress concurrent with that declaration should be sworn in and asked why they failed in their sworn duty to declare war on Al Qa'ida.
And while they have them on the stand they should ask them why they gutted US Intelligence at the behest of lunatics like Bob Toricelli, Janet Reno, Teddy the Swimmer and John Effin Kerry.

The Democrat members are using the same strategy and memos in the Judicial Commission stall tactic. Watch for the Democrat to whoop and hollar for Rice's resignation.
They want a Democrat Party lead lynching in the name of justice.
The democrats are not asking questions OF her, they are making statements AT her in the form of questions.
(how often do you beat your wife? How often do you personally fail to catch alqueda)
oooh good nail by showing she knows their personal lives by saying former attorney general.
To: Kieri
In my haste, I got his name wrong: it's SLATE GORDON.........LOL.

Easy now. These are handpicked shills, certainly not a cross section of those directly impacted by 9/11

Some of those Dem goofs are so stupid this charade could be the basis of a comedy show if it wasn't so pathetic!
To: sarasota
Oh Lord, now the Japanese are mad! This could get interesting.

Ignore that crap. Condi is coming across as graceful and truthful on camera. The families are coming across as an avenging mob.
Nobody on this panel has read Shakespeare, methinks.

Chris

The Democrats are doing a very good job at destroying their own party.
After this hearing and the rantings of Teddy the Swimmer Kennedy, I think you might be right.

You're absolutely right. There should be no audience and the whole thing should be aired for the world. Just remember, the terrorists are sitting around....taking notes.

"The families have lost all sympathy from me, they are a disgrace."
Don't lump all of them in with this collection of garbage, most are genuine Americans who are trying to cope with unbelievable grief, these folks are just trying to find a way to make a profit or a new way to remove GWB

I noticed the shuffling.
From the mood in Washington, this is a terrible day to be a Democrat. Clinton comes off as an ineffective fool, while Condi hands them their heads with clear, calm and concise answers.
I think we are looking at the birth of our first woman President today.

Hmph. Even the panel members on our side come across as doofs. Condi's doing great, but I'm thinking about this panel the same thing I think when I get to see the House or Senate up close. Who are these bozos? And is this really the best we got?
