She's certainly forceful and articulate with her responses.
I'd say both she and the President will come out of this hearing looking great!

"Condi can answer every question perfectly and destroy Clarke completely, but the headlines are already written, 'Condi Answers Raise More Questions than Answers'. Left-wing rhetoric is as predictable as the sun rising."
LOL You could write the leads for Dan Blather.

If anyone doesn't know Condi is hitting them out of the park, they just don't know baseball.

Good point about calling him Dick Clarke. I keep imagining the Dick Clark who dyes his hair and spins records while pimply teenagers bop.
She is an impressive and graceful speaker. Ben Veniste looked ridiculous, hostile, and partisan.

John Kerry says they are a legitimate voice
Fat Teddy, Sadr all got their DNC talking points "its Bushs Vietnam"

"Gorelick?"
I ask again: is that a surname or a career strategy?

I'm going to the PX for the Pepto. Jamie Gorelick is up to bat now.
JG: "Let me tell you the facts as I see them."
Back to the condescending/combative tone.

Love that she got it out there about the alert border guard stopping the millenium bombing plot!
Clarke tried to claim that one as a win for x42.
Ha!
To: Mr. Silverback
***Just said Richard Clarke got a lucky break when the Millenium bombing plot was exposed. That's a direct hit!***
And she said it in such a nice way!

"she's attributing the breakup of the plot to a customs agent, NOT clinton and his croneys!"
That's how I remember the reporting at that time. The agent asked to look in a bag or something.
To: Colonel_Flagg
It would be even better if she just called him DICK.
To: jackbill
I'm so glad that she brought this up. The Clinton admin. has been trying to take credit for this when, as Dr. Rice said, it was an alert customs agent. Period.
And Condi gave that agent's name! Go Condi!

I think so too.
Ben-Veniste instantly hit me as a ferocious liberal who would do whatever it took to bring down Condi. He obviously underestimated her.
The clapping in the audience made the whole thing look a few shades more partisan.
Condi won the battle.
To: texasbluebell
I'm anxious to hear Condi's answer to this woman's questions.
To: Petronski
Oh, this should be good.
Gorelick up against Condi.
To: Wright is right!
Ms. Gorelick - hmm, wouldn't touch that name....
To: Shaun_MD
Everyone, call your reps and senators, GOP and RATS... raise Hell about Ben-Veniste's treatment of this woman.
