Does anyone remember the widows of the Pearl Harbor bombing trying actively to impede our government's prosecution of war, or weaken the government and aid and comfort our enemies? No, of course not. These were wives of military men, who loved their nation and trusted the President to defend them. And the Pearl Harbor Commission wisely waited until AFTER WWII was finished, it was not constructed as a political weapon like this one is. As a New Yorker I am truly ashamed that these mostly-NYC mostly-Democrat mostly-Bush-hating widows represent the victims. If the attack had happened in another city with fewer Liberals perhaps the victims' wives would have been more respectful.
