He didn't. But the person made some pretty silly comments about using helo's instead of ground troops. I simply suggest he leave the war planning up to competent military staff rather than playing "Internet Warrior."

We reply THAT way because we're sick and tired of wannabe's second guessing our Military command and somehow thinking they can do it better based upon press photos and Fox News reports.

If you're done whining...back to our regularly scheduled program.

Sadr 'wanted in two murders'

From correspondents in Baghdad, Iraq

April 7, 2004

SHI'ITE Muslim cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, whose militiamen have risen up against the US-led coalition, is wanted for the killing of a rival last year and but for questioning in another murder case, a legal adviser to the US-led coalition said today.

Sadr is wanted for the April 10, 2003 assassination of rival cleric Abdel Majid al-Khoei, who was stabbed to death in the central Shi'ite holy city of Najaf, along with two other people.
He is also wanted for questioning over the deaths four months ago of three people, including a pregnant woman, who were to a hospital in Najaf in a taxi, the source said.

In a third case, Sadr is accused of confiscating the "khoms", or donations of worshippers to mosques and shrines in the south, which were worth a few hundred dollars.

The coalition official said an arrest warrant was signed and delivered by an Iraqi judge in August.

Speaking about the matter early today, US Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt told reporters "we believe it is an internal matter".

"This was a warrant issued by an Iraqi judge, it will be carried out by Iraqi police forces, he will be detained in an Iraqi jail and he will be prosecuted by an Iraqi judge," he said.

"The coalition will be coming to help, if and when specific requests for assistance are made."

The legal adviser also said the coalition would "provide a logistic and security help if the Iraqi authorities request it".

He said Iraqi judges are in possession of evidence to support their claims.

"Everything is ready for Sadr's accusation," he said.

"Obviously he has to be arrested and it could take a number of weeks, but the warrant will be executed," he said.

He said the announcement about the warrant was not a coincidence.

"The events of the past week have made it necessary to announce it. It has been announced now so that all the people of Iraq understand that Moqtada al-Sadr is not a hero, a great religious leader or a man of peace, but a criminal and a thief."

I was under the impression you were agreeing this action was going to pull our troops out of Fallujah. Sorry if that impression is incorrect.

Geez, Sadr should have waited after June 30 when the US would have scaled back its military.

It's time for the moderate Shi'ite clerica to arrest and execute this upstart.

hahaha...sorry. I was attempting to convey to...new orleans guy (forgot name already) that we can't just start shooting everything. But then again, since they attacked, we need to shoot to kill anything that is out on the street.

They wouldn't be there unless they were part of something, and there isn't some peace march going on at the same time as all of this s@hit.

No word on US casualties. No doubt, there will be some. But it ain't no Vietnam as chunky Ted would like us all to think. In fact, I wouldn't doubt that Teddy's rant urged these scumbags in Iraq on......
