In 7:25 break, anchor reported "Terri Schiavo was rushed to a Pinellas County emergency room last night after nursing home staff noticed puncture wounds on her arm. The wounds appeared to be caused by a hypodermic needle! Toxicology tests were conducted but the results are not available yet!"

This could open a huge new round in this case. What did tests reveal? Who was last person in room? When was husband there? Was staffer trying the Angle of Death routine?

This will be developing hard all day!

Well, Michael and Felos have at times expressed concern that certain things might cause Terri to become agitated, or cause her to suffer. Seem like odd things for them to worry about if they're so sure she can't feel anything.

Because Michael Schiavo is the husband, and the husband has the legal standing, not the parents.

Per Florida statutes, a person whose interests are in conflict with those of another is forbidden from acting as the latter person's guardian. In cases where a guardian's interests may be in conflict with a ward's, a court is required to have a guardian ad litem look after the ward's interests.

Can you honestly tell me that you don't believe there is a conflict of interest between an incapacitated wife and a man who has openly stated his intention to marry another woman as soon as his wife is dead? I don't care whether Judge Greer or any other judge sees such a conflict of interest; can you honestly say that you don't believe Michael's overtly-stated desire to marry the mother of his illegitimate children would indicate a material conflict of interest?

I don't think they would be charged for practicing medicine without a license because there was no medication found in her blood stream. It is possible that someone drew blood from her, a person only has to be certified in phlebotomy to draw blood and that is like a 40 hour course. It is my understanding that if they discover who caused the puncture marks, that person would be charged with felony assault.

The Quacks I described were the psychic healers from Kansas City who "diagnosed" her problems on the phone.... and who claimed that they could heal her by shouting to her on the telephone:

"Terri! Wake Up. They Are Trying To Kill You."

Now do you understand maybe one reason the judge has been siding against family.

What about all the examples in one of the briefs proving what a quack Felos is?

What about the nurses that suspected Michael of injecting Terri and were ignored by the judge?

What about Michael taking Terri to some research clinic to implant electrodes in her skull?

And Michael broke all the guardian statues listed earlier.

What about the fact that he will not let Terri see a dentist or have a gynecology exam or physical therapy.

As far as the telephone call you are talking about, I don't think it is in any of the briefs. And I'm not going to criticize the Schindlers for trying a telephone call. It's certainly less invasive than planting electrodes into Terri's skull as Michael did.

As far as a better lawyer, the Schindlers have them helping their old attorney now. I don't imagine they had much money in the beginning. If I remember right, Mr. Schindler retired from his job to help Terri. They got the best they could. Now they have donations coming in and more experienced lawyers helping their old lawyer. Actually the old lawyer has become a better lawyer. She has grown with the case and with help from more experienced attorneys, she has become a good advocate for the family.

Let me ask you a hypothetical: suppose that instead of Michael Schiavo, Terri were married to a sociopath who had tried to kill her earlier and wanted to make sure she would never recover. Should such a person be allowed to have the state 'finish the job' for him?

If not, what safeguards exist to ensure that such a would-be murderer would not be able to have the state finish off his intended vhctim?

If there exists any reasonable plausibility that Michael's motives stem from sociopathic intent but he is allowed to kill Terri, then it would seem to follow that a sociopathic person in Michael's shoes would be free to do likewise. And to my mind that seems very dangerously wrong.

That depends on how deep the corruption goes. Getting a remedy from Greer is about as possible as my flying to the moon and back this evening. The other courts have consistently rubber-stamped his "rulings". The one hope of a federal judge coming to the rescue blew up when he callously dismissed the masterfully written complaint due to "lack of jurisdiction". This, after he invited her lawyers to MAKE the complaint, giving them 2 weeks to do so.
When they got to court, they were summarily dismissed. Not one moment given to consideration of the issues.

After all I've learned about the buddy-buddy nature of the Florida judiciary/politicians/hospice boards, I'd say the whole system is ROTTEN to the core.

There are better lawyers working on her behalf than there were a few years ago. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to undo mistakes made previously by less-than-stellar counsel. The situation is made even worse by the fact that the judges will use any excuse they can find to decide against the family.

I have a few questions for you though, if you don't mind.

Why is Teri still alive if everything the family or we have done was wrong?

Why is the feeding tube back in?

I'll be honest and admit that I was beginning to wonder if it was Gods will to bring her home. I'm still in awe about how she survived so long without water. I really believe prayer was the answer. No offense intended but God and not lawyers should be our guide (not that he can't use you guys to do this will :') I believe if we keep praying the rest will work out.

I was thinking the same thing, that since the information came out about Terri's bed sore and her lost teeth, this is indicative that she is being neglected in the current facility. This will also fall back on Michael for having her remain in this facility and not requesting an investigation as to what happened to her teeth and why she is not being turned properly.

This very well could be a damage control tactic put in place by Michael's lawyers to draw attention off the missing teeth and bed sore and put speculation onto the parents. Lawyers are always so good at finding ways to do damage control.

There is contradictions all over the place.. if you read the depos of Michael from 1993 - 2000 you will see that he does say Terri feels pain, etc. He also says she just moans but nothing at all about her laughing. We all saw the video of Terri when she laughed (this was not a moan), etc. We saw her smile, etc. We also see how Michael lies in 1992 saying he wants to take care of her for the rest of her life.. anything to get the malpractice money.. also act as if he loves her by doing different charitable things to raise money, etc. and then afterward warehousing her. Oh but he loves her and has a fiancee, etc. and now two children by the fiancee. In the malpractice depos there was nothing about Terri not wanting to live on artificial life support, nothing about all the lies he later came up with, etc. and got his brother and sister in law to lie about. Terri is not comatose or PVS. She is brain injured, disabled, etc. and is being held hostage by attempted murderers.. need I say who they are? We know and there is plenty of evidence of collusion between them.. this includes Michael, Felos, Bushnell, more than several judges, the Police Department, etc. for letting this go on, on up the chain! When is it going to stop? How many more teeth does Terri need to lose, how many more bedsores, etc. does Terri have to endure from being warehoused and neglected? Michael / Felos have admitted that Terri is being neglected by saying she doesn't get her teeth taken care of, brushed, etc. because she doesn't eat. What a crock that someones mouth doesn't need care even if they can't eat. The list of items and illegal actions against Terri is huge! I don't see how anyone in good conscience could allow her to be subjected to these crimes for so long. The only way that it is allowed to occur is because a failure of those to step up to the plate for Terri to free her from Michael's chains (figuratively speaking), etc. Michael can't seem to get the facts straight about what happened the night he put Terri in the condition she is currently in either!
