Thank G_d for Fox News.
And Rush Limbaugh for laying the groundwork for it to blossom.

Why don't we figure out a way to arrange that?
I sent pizza to IDF soldiers last night.....why not a drink (or a few!) to Jim in New York?

Just as an aside, in the conversation that Clarke was having with the press that day, one reply was to "Andrea". I am sure that this was not Andrea Mitchell. (sarc). From the tone of the question, I would think that it definitely was Andrea Mitchell - trying to polish Clinton's legacy:
QUESTION: Were all of those issues part of alleged plan that was late December and the Clinton team decided not to pursue because it was too close to ...

I had to leave the room while Lehman is questioning Berger. Did he say something to Berger to make his face turn so red?
To: mikegi
After seeing the tape out wonder if Clarke will get seafood poisoning at lunch today.
To: mikegi
Agree...its a political spankfest...showing once again that the Republicans play ball weakly..allowing this whole scam to take place.

I don't think the media will have a choice. This new info is HUGH! Granted, before FNC and the internet they could get away with it. Not now.

Berger said he hasn't read Clarke's book. Has to be a lie. He just doesn't want to answer questions about it.
Earlier,Berger talked about all the speaches Clinton gave on terrorism. Typical liberal in that when they say something they think they accomplished something.
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
Jeeze the way they keep talking about "the book" I feel we should be using all caps - THE BOOK!

And did you know John Kerry served in Viet Nam???? Did he really?? I hadn't heard.
To: mikegi
I agree with everything you said. I feel the same way. This is not funny stuff. Although some of what I am hearing is pretty amusing.

I knew this commission would be a bunch of partisan whackjobs ever since the Democrats like Carl Levin were calling for investigations into the "rush to war" with Iraq as far back as the fall of 2002. This commission's partisanship doesn't surprise me at all.

Thanks for the concurrance..you'd think that Rove would realize that he comes across as weak..Ari was also quiet, but he had a "sharp" edge when needed, and he commanded the room...Scott can't do it...

The Democrats on this commission are piling the manure on this investigation in hopes that something beautiful will grow.
