Now Clarke is making the case for the war on Iraq. We acted preemptively to stop an apparent threat.
To: Peach
Now he's defending Abu Nidal because he didn't threaten the United States? He should talk to Ollie North's family who was in the gunsights of Abu Nidal. Living in complete fear in the 1980's and 1990's. Going so far as to change the locks on their house.

Undoubtably the publisher is paying him more than the taxpayers did. that is why he has changed his story. He has just admitted he is a liar for hire.

ha....Clinton only lost 35 people to terrorism......I guess if you exclude the African Bombings
To: Just mythoughts
I have NEVER seen anyone with an ego this big...I think his ego is even bigger than Clintons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To: Howlin
NO, it's about Clarke being peed off that his ass-kissing was not rewarded with that #2 position. He is gonna pay big time for that...and Kerry is going to have to end up disavowing him as far as being part of his campaign.

Boy, I sure am sick of hearing clintonistas say that "We stopped the Millenium attacks".
They did no such thing.
That was all due to a watchful border guard who caught that guy. We dodged a bullet that time only because of that.
This is sickening.

Somebody please explain what's going on. "Thompson just hit one out of the park." The Democrats just took a major hit." Bush will drop 6 points because of this.
Reading this string is like reading Clark's 2002 statement and comparing it to his book!
Are the good guys winning or not?

Oh, good! It wouldn't have been a complete thread until you appear to tell us how what we thought was good was really bad.
ATTENTION ALL ON THIS THREAD!!! IGNORE THIS POSTER!!!
To: nutmeg
Armitage will be on immediately after Clarke!
He will be the final person heard from in this hearing.

Clarke is doing it again. If only you all would have listened to me, all would have been well.

Do they honestly think they're going to seriously damage Condi ? I doubt they've ever encountered anyone with a backbone or as strong willed as she, except maybe the President, Vice President, Rummy and a couple of others.

Where was Clarke on OK City?
Columbine?
The Challenger?
To listen to him, he should have stopped all those incidents...if only we'd listened.
