To show how stupid this guy is, if he wanted to sell a book he shoulc have written one slamming Clinton. The only people who will buy this one is Schumer and Daschel so they can hold it up in the Senate Gallery. Net sales: 2 Wish it were so. Just checked. His book is the #1 selling book on amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.com. He is making a fortune bashing the President.

More evidence of the incompetence within the White House in trying to bring out evidence to defend itself and the conservative position.Given this fiasco, I think the WH will think twice before doing that again (appointing RINO's). They will have to come out with Condi, memos, and additional transcripts of background briefings to overcome this slime. They were too trusting of their hold-over staff who are now backstabbing them in hopes of getting a position in some future RAT administration.

You should be fine.

...having 9-11 families in the gallery clapping like they were at a show...This especially sickened me when I heard it this morning (didn't catch any part of the hearing yesterday). Kean sure seems like a weak chairman. He should gavel the clappers into silence and tell them that he'll clear the gallery upon any further outburst. But, of course, he won't. I am so damned sick of weak Republicans on these various committees and commissions.

Yeah, the something else he moved to was to praise Clarke for his apology. Can't recall the pundit who reported the commission was made up of non-partisans. I almost believed it until learning Ben Veniste was on it.

So much for the President's gracious "new tone," huh?

Well, I'm sure those numbers are cooked. The press is buying it and the dems in the Senate and House are buying it. It'll be a "flash in the pan".

Yep. Somalia convinced OBL that the United States was a paper tiger.

True, but in this case it was the White House that chose the Republican members of this committee. They alway shoot themselves in the foot by placing RINOs in powerful positions (McCain, Chairman of the Ariz for Bush Committee) so that they can damage the conservative cause.

Our operations in Washington State? That arrest was by the sheer luck of the US Customs agent lady who chased the guy down....

He just claimed that the HUMINT capabilities of the CIA got decimated beginning in the 1980's! He is correct although the Dims started that program in the '70s. They weren't really able to institutionalize it and make all sorts of laws, strictures, directives and regulations to totally hamstring it until the '80s.
Reagan, however, demolished the Soviet threat, regardless.
