those posters were DU trolls ... Rush loves the line about how Kerry & the DemoncRATs only respect nations who hate America and tied that directly to the "foreign leaders" comments.
To: StarFan
Yeah, them.

He's laughing! I'm beginning to get the impression that part of the Bush/Cheney strategy is to gradually diminish Kerry by rediculing him. Basically a "Is this guy for real?" approach. If so, given Kerry's ability to say truly idiotic things regularly, it could work famously. Watch for this as the campaign heats up.

He was fantastic! Tore John a new F'n Kerry.
BTW, I flipped around and saw it on MSNBC, FOX and CNN. CNN cut to a Kerry speech to try to offset some of the convulsions that their key viewership (themselves) were having. :-)

Amazing speech. It's so refreshing to know that this quality of person still exists in our country. Imagine Al Gore trying to give this speech. Hah!

Is the speech being carried in full on MSNBC and CNN as well as Fox?At one point I flipped to see who was airing it, and only Fox did, and MSNBC had it on splitscreen. Checked a bit later and CNN had it brought it on (splitscreen) as well.
NBC/CBS/ABC did not have it on at all when I checked (no surprise).

"Remember when all these "old" dudes were selected by GWB, the Dems screamed. I'm so glad Bush was "wise" and picked a few of the "wisest men" in our midst.

Kerry and the media will call it part of the REpublican attack machine....and most people won't get past that intro. Yep. But don't forget the "tired, old insider politics" comment.

I hope C-span re-plays this tonight.

The other nite Dennis Miller said Bush needed to let "the big C" out,,said he would rip off Kerry's face and make a purse out of it. I gotta start watching Dennis Miller...

Cheney is nailing Kerry's hide to the wall! This speech gave form to the suspicion that Kerry is an easy target. He can really only be saved by his press agents: The networks, the papers, and CNN.

You read my mind. I wish the debate was tomorrow. I can't wait to see him debate. In 2000 he smashed Lieberman in the debate!

Very strong and well structured speech...best of all very TOUGH. My question now will be, how hard will the press push. Kerry is in "hiding" for the next week and with the bombing today, how much coverage will these questions get in 5 days?
Let the games really begin.
To: Peach
Kerry responds: Vows to dismantle Halliburton and any other Capitalist regimes who dare question his record. North Korea and France have endorsed Kerry's fall offensive.../sideways sarcasm off/

Now the fun begins! Wonder how Al Querry is going to reply to this speech .....

Remember that during the Clinton years, Halliburton was a priviledge contractor that Clinton used without getting quotes from other firms.
I'd like to see the number of complains against Halliburton or any of its subsidiaries during the Clinton years. Bet the number was ZERO.
Remember that when a Republican is in the Oval Office, the RATs bring out the old arguments (Medicare, Education, poverty, tax the rich/help the poor).
When a Democrat is in the Oval Office, all these issues disappear.

"Over. Done. Kerry --"
Don't I wish! But the media will be out in force defending Kerry. Doris Kearns was busy yesterday on about 3 stations. Kerry spends his money bashing President Bush, endangering our men and women and never answers questions or requests for information.
Kerry and the media = same agenda = bash Bush!!!
